There’s no way of knowing that since there might also be things on the universe that interact differently with darkness and there would possibly be a measure for that interaction. Darkness through association

Evolution is not really randomness, but it’s far from a plan, which is what religion can’t be without

I think they’d have to reinterpret the Bible or any other holy book and we can’t have that. Part of what might be alluring about this though process is that ‘we are right, and we’ve always been right’. Once religion starts to make changes, it’s kinda competing with science. Science would win that hands down

I think that re interpretation isn’t completely off the table I mean many Christians now believe that laying with another man was a misinterpretation/mistranslation and its more about touching little boys than sleeping with men. Its hard to say if science would win i mean religions still going because its hard too disprove ir prove the existence of an all powerful all knowing god

Perhaps, but science supposedly, but not really, changes on the dime as new evedence emerges while religion just adjusts. Its tough to compete where you’re not openly exploring the world as science does. But yeah, when times become bad, people turn to religion so perhaps that’s not going to change anytime soon. Science gives your facts, but it’s not comforting

religion probably only adjusts coz it always believes its right and knows best until everyone else starts saying yeah nah that cant be right then religion starts thinking yeah maybe your right. Yea im with you on that since it seems that in desperate times people turn to god

True. They are trying to understand things. You don’t just one day observe an event and go, ‘oh, the interaction of forces in the universe can be explained by string theory’ 😁. Science walks the edge of possibility with a degree od certainty. Even if they know that certain things are wrong, they might still have insight to a correct explanation . Another words, bullshit

I don’t know, but at worst the injuries will consist of paper cuts from aggressive page turning, achey thumb joints from thumb tapping and a some headache from reading too much.
