So the current state says: don,t play vs Samhain if u want to play for fun. People are not obligated to reach a high level in the game, so what you show doesn’t carry much weight. If the game has to be fixed according to your criteria, then most players will be affected.

being predator haven’t been exactly been fun for me since last update, some premades shouldnt survive that long vs me, but now takes stupid amount of shots to down fts, as ft me and others will make predator lives a nightmare, thats just due to how illfonic balanced the game, its not exactly about skill gap since everyone is getting frustated playing as pred unless its vs shit fts
A lot of people disagree with that, I still get random invites for private games
And for a while my team would only play phg vs my predator since everyone else was boring against.
they just didnt have to make it worse by nerfing energy and pistol, bow, caster this year
so nerfing pred more and more despite being already the weaker side is better for most players ? then fuck most players
I’m just older than you, and from my POV you need to play something else if you don’t get a satisfaction. You share you thoughts, and I share mine thats all. Ofcourse I can put myself to the edge and achive better results, just Im tired from work and I have more important tasks so I save my energy.
This game has never been balanced. And frankly, it’s never going to be. Is 4v1. And you can have a huge disparity of skill in those 4. You can balance it for 4 exceptional players and brake it for everyone else. You can balance it for 4 average players and have a good compromise, but the moment one of those players is an exceptional players it will quickly become broken. But mostly, balance really went to shit when they started buffing damage on all fronts and didn’t buffed HP. Engagements went from lasting 10-15 seconds to last 2 or 3 at the most. From the beginning we asked for more complex and longer missions, but we never got that. We asked for smarter AI and instead we got hordes of dull AI. We got FT bots that nobody asked for, that were broken and now are pointless.
Now, regarding your struggles with some pre-mades, keep in mind that “balancing” will bring this. That’s the whole purpose of it, pre-mades that used to be easy should become stronger while pre-mades that used to be impossible should become easier. Not saying the game is balanced in any way, but that such changes are expected and desirable for proper balance of the majority.
Regardless of who it is any predator goes through this and better yet many players are in this boat of not understanding the game and suffer

The fuck, doesn’t matter the age, and he is a denizen trying to point out game is fucked in this regard whilst many others pass through phg without shedding light on problems like the general population being completely lost and or curbed stomped by a plethora of stringent issues, how are you missing the point here
thats like some twisted forced equality lol people that play better should have higher chance of winning over people that play worse, thats what equality and fairness should be. Balance means giving a fair chance so what gives the outcome of the match relies more on the person skill rather than just the game giving you mechanics that cheat your way to victory regardless if you are good or not.
I dont mind game not being well balanced, meaning a 7/10 pred vs 4 7/10 fts would equal = 50% winrage etc but now its too unbalanced, even more due to the predatorr nerfs this year.
Like hard to put on paper, but it was like even a 7/10 fireteam could beat a 10/10 predator last year, now its even worse. If illfonic keeps doing this even 1 single ft will beat a pred of same of level. I would say in most scenarios in pubs 2 ft of my level could beat my pred.
easy premades are harder now when stacking supports and impossible premades are even more impossible, thats what illfonic caused on last update.

it kinda is, but remember, we are not talking about politics or people’s rights, we are talking about people having fun in a video game. The closer the game makes the skill gap, the more fun people have and more people play the game, which is the ultimate goal of any game developer and publisher.
