Yeah the run around reinforcements area and your team comes back full ammo gear and health isn’t fair, I’m completely behind the contesting the reinforcements if you’re close to the phone it should stop the counter

I understand. The only thing is, it’s a game, and if it’s one man left calling them in and it took a minute it would never happen. You aren’t fighting the predator alone for 60 seconds

Reinforcements is not a problem if you know places where radio spawned. Just check this places in early game and set some bear traps there or just look after it if you already kill 2 FT. I swear they will come to save thier mates and you will get easy kill

You didnt even watch video. He got 3 kills in less than 5 minutes and last guy got lucky with 10 second call. bad predators take 10 minutes or more to kill 3 players

@Orune Did you even watch the video ?! Oh wait you didn’t… yeah bud I took out 3 Fireteam members in 4 and a half minute, I know how to play. Also, if you can even read, I said that I killed all of them, finishing the match. Comeback to the forums when you can take the time to read and ACTUALLY criticize rather than post “gEt GuD” comments. Literally there are a lot of balancing issues for both Predator and Fireteam, and you’re acting like a complete fool when this game was COMPLETELY BROKEN at launch…

the real issue with the mechanic is people quitting the matches because they can get into one faster than the time it takes to be reinforced.

@DisturbedLlama Read the post… all of you read the posts. Reach everybody’s post before commenting. I NEVER said to make it a minute. You’re twisting my words and exaggerating my point. I said “30 seconds minimum.” I didn’t say AT ALL it should be a minute. A minute is all it takes for me to kill a full noob Fireteam squad so yeah, come back when you’re done making futile refutes with false information.

I could have done it in 3 minutes or less if I was sweaty enough and wasn’t having fun healing in front of them.Stop making excuses about people being bad at the game when people are just trying to make the game challenging, fun, and fair.

I was thinking about that from the beginning. Reinforcements are the reason why game is so unbalanced in high level and the reason also because matches are so rushed and being aggresive by most predator (plus missions are easy and quick) . They have to hard nerf reinforcements, there are some situations when you kill 2 ft members as pred and to do this you have to spend all your resources…but then they will come back again with all their medi kit and health stick as well. It’s just a broken mechanic.

I find it funny that the vast majority of topics involve Predator players crying about something, yet the implication is that FireTeam are the crybabies🤔 What really grinds my gears is the fucking hubris of Predator players that think we play Fireteam for YOUR benefit and enjoyment, that our only purpose in this game is to wait until we are found and then offer ourselves as a sacrifice for your satisfaction.

Let me see, off the top of my head; health packs can be destroyed by Predator players (visible in thermal) as can supply crates both of which had their spawn rate nerfed hard. We can’t kill your boar to prevent you having them, it just hands you a free heal and boar spawns were improved. Hand Held Plasma was buffed, and has no counter so is now you can just spam infinite shots until we are dead, that’s fair? Elder Blade was buffed, like the combistick becoming a crutch for unskilled players to get cheap wins. Didn’t the bow damage get a buff too??

You want all the tools of the Predator but don’t want to have to play like a Predator. You just want to be able to waltz in, engage (usually when FT aren’t aware or focused on you and are swamped with AI and objectives) press buttons and claim skills without thinking and then onto the next team.

If this was purely a game about 4 FT members going head to head against a Predator player it would be different, and many things would need addressing to make it fair and balanced. But it’s not. You’ve got the terrain on your side, the AI on your side, the stupid missions on your side, so if you can’t utilise everything that you have in your favour then playing as Predator isn’t for you.

Infinite hand held plasma cast shots…
Shoulder cannon regens it’s energy so never worry about running out of shots, just be smart with your energy use…
Arrows can be retrieved, so basically endless supply…

FYI, we don’t all carry medkits. We get 2 syrettes each. Starting ammo has been nerfed. We have to think seriously about ammo conservation, and we have to use our syrettes carefully. One plasma blast or power slam and that syrette we just used was wasted anyways.

Easy missions? Some are actually challenging, especially when the AI triggers the alarm and suddenly double in numbers with improved aim and shotguns that seriously deplete our health at obsurd ranges, any smart Predator player has learned to use the camp alarms against us. If Reinforcement is the biggest issue in the game for you, then you’ve got it pretty easy haven’t you. The majority of skilled Pred mains like reinforcement option, more skulls for the Blood God and more of a challenge for them. But hey, keep pushing and there won’t be many Fireteam players and then where will you be.
