@VENN7eance First off, I’m just gonna say that I stated only 2 and again 2 buffs for the Predators. That was just the Handheld Plasma Caster damage buff and the Scout 10% ranged weapon buff. I NEVER mentioned any other buffs. Also I’m NOT a dev so don’t blame ME for other buff decisions. I will agree that INFINITE Handheld Plasma Caster is OP. I never really used it as my friend told me it was crap anyway. I have only started using it recently.
Whenever I play Fireteam, and before you ask, YES I have played Fireteam with the new patch. Still, the AI are not hard and if you think so, then I don’t know what to tell you. Many game reviewers complained how the AI were brain dead easy and objectives were far too simplistic such as picking up a piece of paper. If you have trouble with that, that’s your problem because I haven’t heard ONE complaint where someone said AI was too hard and objectives are hard and time consuming. You would be the first to say this.
Also with the Shoulder Plasma Caster, YES it consumes energy and YES Predators can regenerate their energy. Are you new to the Predator universe ? Serious question btw ! In ALL movies, Predators never RELOAD or have to find ENERGY for their Shoulder Plasma Caster. If someone spams their Plasma Caster, there will be an Energy Overload and that mechanic was put in place to prevent Plasma Caster Spam. ALSO, for effectiveness, you want to charge the Plasma Caster which takes time, energy, and giving away position when fired for a big damage shot.
Btw, I haven’t lost once with my Fireteam for the past few weeks because we communicate every second, and we have builds that revolve around helping EACH other when necessary. We also know what weapons to use and are most effective. We also have played so much that we know what to do when we have a smart Predator who is destroying med kits and ammo crates and setting off alarms. That Predator can do whatever he wants but as long as everyone is covered in mud 24/7 and sticks together and watches our backs and always has cover. We always evacuate with the chopper or we kill the Predator when he gets desperate.
