Really you think so? Idk that mask jus seems too bulky at least imo. I saw someone say that sauron predator is suppose to be the 1st born predator even before grayback. If thas the case im willing to bet thats gonna be disney/dans way of trying to make these new 1 to 1 with human scaled “predators” be the defult rather than stan based predators, if hes unmasked should say

The Predator doesn’t look good at all. Also if they couldn’t make a good design leave the mask on at all times. Like Mandolarian.
The mask being off all the time was a main reason Boba fett sucked.
There’s a scene where it just looks like a black football player running drills in practice. Tf ?
They fixed sonic maybe they’ll fix this too.

Since this is produced by the same team as Prey,
I am just happy they brought the original face back and didn’t keep the disfigured burned turd look.
But yeah those dreadlocks have no business being on that spot based on the canon anatomy of the species.
But people here writing that this is a bad sign and that the movie is going to suck need to chill a bit.
Every shot looks amazing,
there seems to be so much original lore,
it takes place on an alien planet (fuck yeah)
and if you’re looking for signs the trailer features an original song which seems to be in Yautja language,
instead of the typical cash grabbing approach that every movie does these days,
which is take an 80’s song slow it down and make it sound dramatic.

The head is narrow and the predlocks cover the top of the head.
I guess you could excuse the look as being a very young predator. Maybe the hairline recedes with age and the skull keeps growing to eventually looking like the traditional design. 🤷♂️

And not in the way you may think but in the way that ppl latched on to the cooked up “backstory” of feral that conveniently came out after the backlash of the design change, ppl got to say “hes from a diff part of YP so its ok and works” when the rest of us knew what ot really was which was damage control for the tossing out of the classic stan winston base design to insert thier version of what dan thought it should be. Its been mentioned but dan has trashed stans design and said so as the reason for him changing it.
Now we see the same dan base design with only the mandibles and teeth being what they kept from stan winstons predator. Trust me i coped with things from 2018 predator but i knew itbwas shit.
Yea foreal and ppl connected with chief through the games with out his face being exposed…let alone his cheeks

I noticed the ID4 reference right away. did anyone else ? I mean don’t tell me there is going to be a crossover movie with that.
and so there is also Weyland Yetani reference in her eyes so I suppose there will be a mish mash of lore references.
I personally don’t think the design is that bad I’m sure you guys will still enjoy the movie lol

It totally is. It’s just a way to give the story a chance.
For example, the 2018 movie could have been okay even with the terrible design choices, but the bad plot makes the whole movie a pointless addition to the franchise.

I truly hate it because alot of stuff like the set designs, world look, alien creatures and plants look badass but that terrible predator design takes me outta the immersion as we will have to see that thing alot as hes the protagonist so its def gonna be harder to over look it (for me atleast) where as in prey i was able to overlook some things. 😭 rip to the predator we all grew up loving. We’ll never get another winston based design again from here on out its disney/dans version of predator and im sorry but i hate it.
