If he was as big a fan as he claims (like all these directors say when handed a franchise) he wouldnt of altered it as much as he did we woulda jus seen another unique looking predator and not unique in the way we see now but unique as in neca type unique. They always say “oh i was such a huge fan and love this IP and blablabla” to then go and change everythin that made said IP iconic and loved by ppl all over. I hope ppl flood his twitter and let him know we dont want his version we want the version that made him an icon in scfi

like, alien romulus was good until the lame and unoriginal ending. the xenomorphs looked fine. i didnt have any complaints about their design

Well for the most part at least his neck muscles are visually apparent. The neck muscles in Badlood for the main guy is lost in translation.

But I fucking called it. I said Hollywood would only make a Predator protagonist if it made it a hero, and there you go. I don’t even need to know the plot to infer by the trailer the protagonist will be a full 100% hero… not even anti-hero

I mifht get backlash for sayin this but i kinda hope it fails so it can be taken from dan and would be ideal to be taken from disney but if it gets taken away from dan id be fine and given to someone who really respects the predator enough to do what dan is doing as far as concepts but respects stans designs. at least for now. We dont know if this sausage will die in the first 10 minutes and the other guy in the mask is some other character. I mean if there is a character that is revealed in the trailer literally gets his arm chopped by another character literally in trailer, then we don’t know if the guy in the hoodie is another character who casually takes on this mask (the mask is not even really explained except that someone takes it from the sandy trophy room).
I understand your point, but I believe that, given the numerous variations of predators we’ve seen, it’s challenging to determine which one is the authentic Yautja, aside from the classics. I’m merely stating that, although most people will give it a chance, it may not align with your original vision.
I think maybe he will turn normal looking as the movie progresses. The director said he’s going to have a Conan transformation. So imagine the young kid pushing the wheel. That’s Dek on trailer. Then he transforms into Arnold.
The hairline could be prebuscent Yautja stuff. Then just gets bald— crowning. which will look like a normal yautja. Either that or he’s just gonna get buff as the years go by.
