I don’t stream it everyday like a zombie for no reason. (I have averaged out nearly 8 hours a day since I cant land a job and this is the only thing keeping me sane).
Pretty sure I hold the PS record for time played (over 2k at this point)
I’m forcing myself to play DBD right now… cause I’ve spent over 9 hours today playing PHG
Glad to know stuff isn’t falling on deaf ears though.

A great reason of why I play, is because I love predator and people tell me they are inspired to play, watching me. I love showcasing this game and showing people new things they haven’t learned or noticed before.
Answering the same questions everyday about content and such can bare a huge toll.
Just have been trying to show people how to have fun with this game, when people have been quick to bury it.

That’s where a ton of other community folks have created challenges or codes to adhere to to make the gameplay not as stale or create challenge for pred or Ft.
There is a prominent yet stagnant force in this game that keep it fresh for themselves daily.

I Don’t take myself overly seriously and have an above average gameplay ethic that people can pick up on. :)
Played a ton of “gamebattles” back in the day so I’m not “pro” but I did at one point play for money with videogames.
Saw what that turned me into and hoped I could just play games for fun and help make them better :)

- I wish I got to play that much once again. I bought a Switch so I could get my gaming time on the toilet cause that’s the only peace I can get until 9-ish at night.
- I make stupid as hell facial reactions, and I have toddlers, so no streaming for me. I’d look like a fool AND I’m sure I’d have some issues cause toddlers like to get naked and run around.
The best thing I can say is while keeping expectations within the realm of what a small team can do (I beat TLOU2 over the break, and frequently there were like specific art teams that were larger than the entirety of IllFonic), but know that we are listening to you. It will take time, and we wont do every thing that every person wants, but we’re working on the game and adding to it.

It’s somewhat of a bittersweet purgatory of playing a game that I love while the world around me sinks.
My show is literally a visual representation of my own hope.
Sort of really sad satire if you think about it since there’s not much I can do… lol

Oh man, I totally misread your post: I thought you were getting 8 hours in a day WITH a job, which is what I averaged for a while in my 20s. My condolences and sorry about missing that post, and sorry that things have gone sideways for you. My wife is in the same boat (She’s been unemployed the whole pandemic), so while I’m lucky enough to be working, I’m raising a family of 4 on one income, and I work for an indie studio, so we’re surviving but not making headway.
Life has a way of working out. Sometimes it’s not obvious, and sometimes it’s dark and twisty, but keep an eye on that prize and do your best to keep standing, cause good things will come :)

Used to be apart of a private preschool (preschool/school age teacher) that went under fast due to the pandemic and have been in and out of jobs, closed due to the pandemic.

Teachers were hit hard, and that makes me all kinds of angry (My mom was a elementary teacher, and I was thinking about it for a while but ended up perusing something else in college. Plus I would have wanted to teach highschool-level topics but remembered what high school was like). Education is the greatest investment we, as a society, can make, but when things go bad, Education seems to be the first to suffer.
Now I’ll stop myself before I get too preachy, but things are coming around. Vaccines are ramping up and hopefully the most at-risk can get them ASAP. And thankfully, in the future, the habits we’ve all been forced to adopt will prevent the next pandemic (Though I am fucking done buying hand soap).

My problem is that I’ve been tricked too many times by hand sanitizer. You buy the most boring, clear hand sanitizer you can find, and when you finally open it a week later (In the car cause you got some drive through and you want to clean a little before eating) and you discover it has some weird herbal scents or flowers or whatnot. Makes the burger taste like a month old bouquet. I’d rather deal with the straight ethanol scent and deal with a slightly vodka-y smelling burger than unexpected lemongrass and thyme.

My dream that will never come true is : (because Isabelle is coming) that we get new levels to 300 -> level: 200: tracker pred ; 250: Falconer pred ; level 300: Mr. Black
but what I want at first in the new update is BALANCE!!!
We need balance fixes! The pred can be solo melted by the FT in less than 3 secs. But the pred needs more than 3 secs TO EVEN KILL A DOWNED FT lol

The problem is that while new characters are nice (and obviously take a lot of effort to make), the fun wears off pretty quick when we still only have 4 maps - 3 of which were in it from the start with only one mode that’s really popular.
