Same, makes the predators feel a bit more unique. Hopefully that predator becomes a future class.

That is not my understanding of the widow clan. She was a clan leader and joined after the loss of her mate, not that she leads it.
She is 9ft tall and larger than the males but only just barely in the novel, the authors over the years have added their own takes to the lore, mostly for the better.
I think all of these Predator characters are just that, specific characters and not “generic” Predators with themed armor. I hope that makes sense.
As for where are the explicitly female characters? Unclear. I am not a lore person, but I have heard talk that there are a few female Predators in the lore and in the comics. Based on that, I would be willing to venture a guess that getting the legal rights to use those characters likenesses in game is not cheap. It probably also involves a lot of lawyer-ing and other boring stuff to make it happen.
I think right now it seems that Illphonic has a deal with NECA and using their toys. Doing a quick search, I do not see any female Predator toys on their site. So once they produce one we may see one, or once the NECA toys are exhausted they can move onto other media?
That would be my guess.

The reason the wiki list her like that is that it’s an assumption based off the single paragraph in the novel. The paragraph isn’t clear about how large the widow clan is or how it functions within their society. Clans can be social positions or family groups or even jobs in Yautja society. They aren’t one thing or defined in a satisfyingly thorough way.
My assumption is just my opinion based on what is said and a broader understanding of the clan structure.

All this arguing over how female Predators should or shouldn’t be depicted is quite frankly ridiculous, especially as a lot of it is citing stories/comics that were essentially trashy throw-a-way things with little thought for continuity. I’ll just quote myself from a previous thread:

Oh yeah, I’m familiar with the original movie design. Was just joking that the new Dark Horse comic focusing on the original screenplay seems to have omitted the ‘duck’ part of the design.
I don’t know if you’ve read it but have you read badblood series of comics? Very good in my own opinion also I do agree movie 1 and 2 are the main official cannon for movies in my mind that doesn’t mean I don’t like the other movies but time lines and things that happened some don’t fit or don’t make sense the avp 1-2 i really liked however the newest movie is good for a “movie” but “lore” wise it’s garbage to get around this mind set I have and be able to watch the movie with lore In mind is thinking the big one is an abomination to the grand elders and was trying to get a hold of the alien tech lol 🤦♂️
Also I love the idea you can play as a female pred in this game and I like what there doing with it but so far most the characters we’ve received are cannon and male so you can’t ask for a gender change on them lol but for samurai I would be fine if they added a female option also why do you think samurAis silly lol I thinks he’s badasss and have been fuccin ppl up lol😂🤷♂️

They just need to make the Egyptian Pred that Dutch faced as the next DLC, and make it female only, there problem solved.
