Yes, it’s not honorable. More of a desperation move. Like if FT is running to extraction and fighting preds. If one gets second winded at the right time and either blow up all FT in the are or cause then to miss the choppa. That’s why I proposed last man standing to the pred that’s left so he could face surviving FTs on some level
I already commented. Well see what the author has to say. Everything starts simple but when you get in depth, many complications may arise
What do you think: if there is just one pred left, the exfil is not possible for the FT. Then the “hunt” will switch hunter and hunted…
If just one small FT is left, that could be compensated by AIs which start to just hunt the preds or alike. Also an interesting twist and turn…
It depends on how many FT are left and if the can still reinforce. Reinforcement can be a big game changer.
Yes, perhaps a new twice is needed for whichever faction is at a severe disadvantage. Don’t know what that should be yet.
Maybe things should be simple to start and adjustments can be made if problems arise. It’s tough to foresee all complications without actually running a simulation. You know that there will be a potential for abuse similar to sniper or building camping

Yes and no. If you just have a linear mission, then abusing things will break the whole idea. But, if your game offers enough twists and turns, the creativity of the players can counter such an abusing more easily.
Think of chess - so much possibilities - yet nobody managed to find THE SOLUTION - but just different playing styles with nearly even chances…
I agree with AI reinforcement; don’t agree with new players cause they too random. Not sure if new players would appreciate to be put into an unknown situation. You want to be in the game from the start, not a reserve. Not totally against it, but it’s an untested mechanic

I mean, I think this would work well with randoms, but pre-mades would not like all the chaos
