Still broken game with broken metagame.

If they wanted to remove the respawn mechanic to make the fireteam play more stealthy, then they need to make it much harder for rh predator to find them, like the predator will have to work to find them, remove the isolation tracker altogether, and make the predator as weak to bullets like how he is in media. He gets hit once in the leg in the movie and runs to heal, so sure, we dont get revives, but all predator lose the ability to soak damage of any kind and make the predator play like how he is supposed to, stealthy and hidden, trying not to get shot.

One shotting people with the PC isnt needed though, the changes for the PC need to be made on how the weapon operates IMO, with how predators play the PC, it was fairly easy to one shot a FT member, then one shot whichever tries to revive the downed teammate or simply finish the downed guy off immediately. If they bring back the one shot, I want my headshot damage to the predator reverted so I can pop the helmet in two hits again, thus making him work for the one shot and simply not spam fully charged shots.

Do not mind it. This game is not about Predator. This game about Superman-Maniac who jumps from heaven to earth, blinds everyone and withstands damage from four shotguns in the face. And then he runs to eat barbecue from local hogs.

I dont mind the blind on slam as it last for a fraction of a moment. Since the update I’ve been playing against alot of good predators, that utilize a mix of melee, traps, and ranged. The predator players that complain about no longer having a one shot are those that dont want to get better at the game or use skill to win, they simply want free kills to help them feel better about not learning how to play the predator. The predator still needs a couple things. Like less vocal noise, his foot steps need to stay the same, the predator is a 7 ft tall and ranges anywhere between 300-400 lbs, nothing that heavy is gonna be moving quietly especially when jumping from tree to tree, you are gonna hear that beast hit those branches and move across them. Things are far better now than before, and I hope the PC doesnt get a one shot again, 2 shotting is fine and healthier for the overall game. I’d say increase objectives or how long it takes to complete a mission and suddenly two shots is amazing because you are forcing them to heal and use up their supplies. With a longer game, running oit of supplies because a predator is making you heal and use your ammo packs matters.

I like the changes, but Illfonic needs to double down on it…

A full team of 4 surviving till the end, should be a rare occurrence, even rarer for a full team of 4 to successfully kill the pred and claim the body.,

That the nail on the head. If they address the class thing on both sides I think many issues will resolve. Not all but alot.

You support? Great, here’s the saw or a AR, ammo, extra ammo, a heal and a shot gun for when bad boy wants to square up cause you aint hauling ass anytime soon.

Thst is what I want.
Assault Class - Able to equip ARs and grenade launchers plus the dmr of the sniper class and able to bring med kits (should only weigh 4 as well)
Scout - can equip ARs and any sniper rifle
Able to mark the predator, should have a lower heat signature than other classes.
Recon - able to mark the predator but longer than scout class. Can equip any AR and any sniper, plus bring ammo bag.
Support - only class able to equip lmg and minigun. Plus any AR and the grenade launcher. Can bring ammo bag plus med kit.

This isnt perfect but dedicated classes will help things a lot I think

Im not too fathomed by FT members having the ability to equip everything they want.

But as a pred, I want to be able to scan them in thermal, and see their loadout, so I can pick my targets with a little more than just eyeballing them.

Plus it would encourage pred to stalk a little more, at least at the start, to see what hes up against.

I like that idea, you notice a scout with the .50 cal just kinda moving around? Hell yes I’m gonna drop on him and get him first. There is a support with the lmg? Gotta watch myself going in on that, net him up or get him in a bear trap than attack from behind…etc…etc… I also dont think you should be able to see what everyone is coming in as right away just by looking at the score screen

I agree, Score screen shouldnt be updated until first contact

You must not play the game after first patch. That or your aim is terrible because the bow is amazing. Also if you stand still as predator you turn completely invisible. Now yea they need to fix some noises especially with how loud his footsteps are and if you run a scout it should definitely be quieter than berzerker. But overall its not crazy hard to win as predator anymore. Just use hunter with bow and combi, or net and combi. Play smart and you will win.

my favorite build for pred this patch is

Yautja bow, net gun

Healking kit, Motion Detector

Adrenal Boost, Down range (though this could be replaced) , long jump

Scout class predator

I play the hunter personally, same weapons. Down range, impenetrable, and cooling syncs. I use med kit with audio decoy and motion sensor.

Nice, I just love the mobility of the scout. its off the chain, especially with long jump and adrenal boost

Fire Team needs running speed reduced and stamina regen too. Especially Recon and Scout classes.

The spotting needs a cooldown. The cooldown can be Predator’s isolation scan divided by 4.

More missions for Fire Team to do and make them more fun and interesting.

Reinforcement mechanics needs to be reviewed. At least make the location for calling reinforcements at the opposite side of the map in relation to the extraction point and not in the same camp where missions are currently.

AI needs a buff in all departments to actually be doing something.

More bigger maps.

Now i dont feel like explaining in intricate detail but some perks actually do not work. If you all go in private match try some of those dmg reducing perks or also long jump which barely increases leap distance you will see they dont do as advertised. Not specifying because it still gives me an edge with this knowledge and the people i tested it out with. But go in private match and test it. You will see. Also that dmg reduction on 2xl and 7EN at closer range isnt true either. Tried and tested.

I agree with almost all of this, spotting should have a per person cool down, that way it isnt spammed but each member can still call out where the predator is. Reinforcementa should spawn where the FT spawned in at, even with full new gear, being that far away is gonna hurt. Longer missions with more objectives will provide a far more engaging hunt as well, especially for good predators. AI is just inconsistent, they do a fair amount if damage, it suprised me how much they do, it’s just how inconsistent it is. Increase their consistency and accuracy, but decrease the amount of shots fired, most the time they just run up and empty their clips and their either hit with them all or almost none.
