That’s the difference between Fox and Illfonic - they are respectful to the original movies and are not adding any politics or propaganda to their story, so as you have mentioned, even Arnie was interested - that is first time he is back since original Predator.

There is something about Arnie and Sean recordings that gave me that chill, same one when I first watched Predator and Predator 2. The game may not be perfect, but sure as hell they know what they are doing with their story telling.

Because of that I very much doubt we are ever going to see godzilla Predators, predator killer suits or side quests for pred to find and kill a child with autism.

I never want to see that stupid PredKiller suit in this game, in fact I hope I never see it again.

What’s next? Legions of those suits in an all out Warhammer 40K style battle against Yautja?? That is the total opposite of what this franchise represents.

And now that Disney/Marvel have the license, I’m genuinely concerned for the future of the Predator. There was no legitimate reason to deny Dark Horse the license, it’s not like they would lose money. They could’ve worked together, Dark Horse have shown themselves to be more than capable of producing some amazing stories and concepts. Shit, neither Alien or Predator would be as successful as they are now if it wasn’t for them keeping the IPs alive and fresh.

After how they destroyed Star Wars, my lack of faith is understandable.

Like I said, Predator Disney Princess incoming🤣 They always have to princess their properties, they did it with Leia and Rey🙄 Nice cutesy cartoons, songs… Princess Alien Queen, all gushy and caring of her brood… I’ll be back, I just threw up in my mouth…

I’m actually hoping they add that particular Predator to the game as a class for Predator. Egyptian Predator, gender locked to female, a bit beefier than female Hunter but taller? Egyptian themed armour, with darker skin shaders and some themed exclusive weapons.

They’re going to need to add more Custom Loadout slots to accommodate them all. 6 isn’t enough as it is, and we’ve got City Hunter coming and people will want at least two custom loadouts for that beast alone.

Just because Stargazer exists in this game, does not mean the events of “The Predator” are relevant or canon within it. And to the guy who said Dutch mentioned the events of “The Predator” in his tapes. That is a bold faced lie. The only part of “The Prefator” that is ever brought up in game is the organization of Stargazer that’s it. The Keyes tapes also never mention any of the events of “The Predator” except the organization of Stargazer. No: Assassin predator. No: kids with autism. No: we take spines for the DNA gains bro.

The devs already confirmed this takes place after The Predator.

Keyes also stops just before Stargazer is established. I think his tapes stop in 2016 where the events of The Predator took place in 2018. So he simply can’t have commented on it.

Im dead against predator tech being used by the FT.

If this was Halo, or Unreal or Doom yeah sure. But its more nuanced than a deathmatch game and should remain so.

Yeah I don’t think we are there yet in the franchise where we can follow any character around that will boldly use pred tech other than by accident.

Why would the FT NOT use predator tech. Makes zero sense any way you slice it. We keep recovering predator corpses and weapons (for a long time now) but we don’t use tech from them? Why not pick up a pistol and start shooting it?! Why not use ANY of they gadgets… Dutch has a pred computer on his wrist and mask on his shoulder! Again, makes no sense why the military does not incorporate that shit into its military.
