first… Godzilla never was fast like in Godzilla vs Kong… No Godzilla is slower then a Mac Truck while Kong is fast like a F1 car compared to G.
second… in hollow earth was a bigger Godzilla death on the Ground who was killed of “a” Kong with that Axe and in their fight Kong smashed that Axe straight into Godzillas Head… So G should have be death after that Hit.
for third… its only a movie… the winner was invented, if I was the producer Kong would have won and would sit on his Throne with Godzillas Skull of his Head as a trophy… ;)

The opening cinematic to G destroy all monsters melee was amazing. Set the perfect tone for the game. Save the earth was the best game of that series though. Unleashed was good on Wii, but the controls held it back IMO. I never played it on ps2, but I’m trying to locate a copy for a reasonable price

I’m lucky enough to have all five Godzilla games released since the Gamecube, still in box; DAM for Cube, STE and Unleased for PS2, Domination for GBA and of course the holy grail, Godzilla for PS4. I recently got a Gamecube so its been fun playing DAM again after so long. The content isn’t the best compared to STE but it still holds up strong today.
Agreed. Still fun. I’m in possession of all of those (in different versions) and both Dreamcast G games. The first one is like a proto version of the ps4 G game. I also own the b&w Gameboy G game (the weird puzzle one where everyone looks like they’re from the Godzilland cartoons kinda) and the 1st NES game. I’m currently hunting the 2 G the series Gameboy color games from the 98 animated series too. It’s only a matter of time…

Do we know that was a dead Godzilla for certain? I looked over and over again, hoping to see a sign, like dorsal fins, but I couldn’t see any. I just assumed it was a G supporter. But no, G has moved at high speeds before. I point you to G vs Megalon where he kinda shuffle-runs (because of the suit limitations, but runs nevertheless). And Kong never had a chance, the director confirmed in an interview. The whole point of the axe was because the director felt bad for Kong. And the big overhead axe hit wasnt even a true hit, it was an energy overload and explosion. When he actually DID get G withbit, it was in the thigh and G shrugged it off like it was a bee sting. Kong was a mortal being going up against a nuclear arsenal with claws and teeth. No chance at all (que Vince McMahon theme song).
I completed my hesiei collection of godzilla and gotten 6 figs two SHMA: godzilla’19 and Kong’21, 3 necas: godzilla’54, godzilla’92 and godzilla’03 and 1 possibly SHMA or some other brand: showa king ghidorah (i believe its the astro monster or destroy all monsters king ghidorah its either one) and im gonna be building a three scene display case for the figures
The '92 godzilla is my favorite fig out of my collection cause i love the articulation on the tail

Yea, our spat about the movie aside, the actual vs fictional debating scaling is fucking whack because of this bullshit.
Kong, the one we know, in his prime, or in his GvK state does not even stand a chance vs the literal dying, weakened, tired Godzilla from Godzilla: Dominion who handled Titan discourse and a Anti-Titan operation alongside Monarch.
Compare this Kong to Mechagodzilla who was actually getting smacked around by Base Axe and then literally just fell over and died by Powered Axe. That Axe didn’t do shit to Godzilla while powered. This makes Mechagodzilla into the WEAKEST TITAN IN THE SERIES.
GVK and the new comics ruined the MV in every way imaginable, both Narrative and Logic. And I will stand by this notion.
That feeling when Rodan would win vs Mechagodzilla.
