So Watched the Legendary films again. Cause they are a nice way of seeing a Godzilla other than the OG’s.
I wanna talk about my Homie Rodan.
Ppl are mad that he got Shit on by Mothra. Yes thats sad. Yes they really made him into a Bitch. Being a sidekick and a real Nemesis to other Big G’s!!
But he had his moments in KoftM.
He did Survive so we know he is durable.
I would love to see more of Rodan. Hopefully in the Apple series
Director stated ghidorah’s ancient rival to our G and fought him previously. Its the same G.
Rodan allied with Godzilla previously when it was G + Mothra vs Ghidorah and some giant Muto.
Rodan just switched sides when the oxygen destroyer dropped in KOTM.
This starscream Rodan is cool though.
tbh legendary ghidorah’s grindset seems to be to show up, subdue some other titan and then hope he can team battle vs godzilla. He lost antarctica and got iced.

I tried it. It’s pretty neat. As close as you can get to being in one of the movies. Onna proper big screen TV and with good headphones, running around close to Kong is sweet (G is always in the ocean, circling the island, but he’s still massive). Not as expansive as I’d like, but for a free game, it’s neat.
Happy 8th anniversary to the Monsterverse. Seeing the resurrection of Godzilla, not just in the US, but in the world, on opening day in IMAX, blew my mind. To this day, still my best cinematic experience, and still an amazing film.

Toho’s Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita will also executive produce, representing the owners of the Godzilla brand.
So far this franchise has only recieved good treatment and nerd directors so hopefully the trend continues.
I just don’t want it to end up like Halo or G1998 where people who hate the material get put in charge of it.
Honestly, with Gvk and Adam Wingtard being in charge of the next movie, that’s basically sailed for me.
Godzilla Apple TV is sounding decent though.
I enjoyed Wandavision (until the end big cg fight) so I have pretty fair hopes for this show, but we’ll see.
I can’t wait at least for more lore or big monster fights
I desperately want more lore and more of G’s sunken city home. I want in depth scenes there, thousands of years ago before it sank. I want to see why and how the people thought of G as a god.
