I feel Godzilla is only on Skull Island because he is drawn towards the egg of Mothra. So Im sure we are going to have a Mothra tail bite moment lol. Also all the other monsters that are currently in chase of the title like Mesthusda and Rodan. I think we will have a Teamup moment. Also in the latest teae. Godzilla is using atomic breath vs King but is only using it to remove the weapon from kong. So idk

Well someone had put together all known clips/ spots and i have a feeling that its kong they keep showing kong and saying that the world needs him this is my speculation for whose gonna win i don’t care who wins im just there for the fight😂

Mothra’s egg isnt on skull island its in Mothra’s temple or somewhere else i would see skull island plain as day in the credits

Yet its his/Dagon’s spike i don’t think he can destroy the axe if it was made with his own kind’s parts cause their spikes is the only thing to absorb radiation and godzilla’s beam is pure radiation

At the end credits of KOTM the Newspaper says egg shows up at skull island.

No it didn’t say it like i said i would have seen skull island in it would have said it in the first sentence in the newspaper its hard to decipher it but i would be able to see skull island if it was on there

But its somewhere else or in Mothra’s temple but we don’t know if that is drawing the kaijus to skull island it could be jonah’s doing or kong’s alpha frequency

We’ll see in 2 months and 3 days or the trailer

Unless it generates enough cringe to kill the monsterverse entirely because they decided to put the creator of NETFLIX’S DEATH NOTE in charge of this movie

Kaiju movies are already niche and then they make it look dumb asf to the average person so they never earn their money back. Attempting to be grounded and not Pacific Rim 2 tier campy was the only saving grace up until this point

I saw a video where they pointed out Kong is wearing a collar of some kind possibly to control him which would strengthen the theory that he and godzilla will ultimately team up

Looks alright. Seems like a fun watch. I’m just hoping they don’t focus on the humans for most of the film like these VS films tend to do.

There’s already a deaf girl translating for kong lol of course it’ll be 3/4ths human drama.

Obvious plot spoilers btw if you’ve never seen anything with mechagodzilla in it. Only reason director would pick him over mechaghidorah or anything else, for the reveal at the end.

Yeah pretty much as I thought it would be. A predictable plot but to be fair who’s watching these movies for the plot I just want to see monsters kick ass lol. I’m guessing mechagodzilla will be their excuse for why Godzilla’s gone rogue which would be lame. At least have it so it’s the real Godzilla Kong is fighting and use mechagodzilla for something else.

Probably right about the humans being the main focus. I can overlook a predictable plot if we get a lengthy amount of Kong Vs Godzilla (actual Godzilla not a silly twist where it was mechagodzilla the whole time) action but if it’s mostly human crap nobody cares about the movie will be a dud imo.

Kinda just sounds like Batman vs Superman because VS movies like to throw a third character in. Though yeah most of this being a dupe and pretty much Mechagodzilla vs Kong is goofy too but otherwise mecha can’t do his token reveal. Both are better than a spiderman 3 situation where there’s too many characters in one movie. Axe will reveal its metal at the thor hammer money shot in the trailer see you all when its straight to streaming lol.

True. Probably should’ve just left mechagodzilla out of the film then tbh. Oh well the least I can hope for is cool fight scenes. Maybe they’ll have it so Kong gets confused and starts beating the real Godzilla up thinking he was the one that caused all the destruction or something lol

Probably but they don’t rly have a reason for them to fight otherwise, definitely not for a 2 hour movie. Kong just chills on his island and hangs out with deaf kids and Godzilla patrols the rest of planet earth.

Actual godzilla probably shows up halfway then no skin mechagodzilla soon after. Probably fight straight into a teamup.

True. Though I’m sure they could’ve come up with something. Now that I think about it they did say in the trailer about a war and they’re the last 2 left. Could’ve been a war between the Kongs and Zillas ah Fuck if I know though. Just have to wait and see what they’ll do.

Its to small. Godzilla was standing at 110 meters at the end of KotM that is definitely a mech. Godzilla hasn’t attacked mankind in this universe so it possible
