Wtf…a fire team member with a knife won in a fight …my claw vs his knife…fuck off …what have they done…and when the predator slams in…he stands frozen still and gets shot to bits…terrible
Hand to hand combat predator gets beat.
You have to adapt to the parry. You can back off a bit and use the secondary function with what you have equipped along with melee attacks. If I have my cannon equipped during melee I will do a 1 or 2 hit combo and then use the cannon. Similar approach with bows/netgun/combistick/etc.
That slam freeze is even longer with combistick in hand.

So Shame.
You should rely on Ranged combat. Keep shooting and moving/leaping. Only go for melee if you see a FT is bad at parrying/doesnt even try to do it or just netgun. I always try to take out 1-2 of the FT with ranged weapons before even attempting melee.

I think the majority of people agree. A tiny little combat knife should not be able to stand up to a Predator with any of his melee weaponry at all.

its a game mechanic to stop a noob predator just running in and “press fire to win”
Its prefectly fine, it doesnt have to be “real” because its a game.
all you have to do is stand back and shoot plama at them when they are trying to knife/parry you. or shoot a net at them first, or throw the spear at them…
Endless ways you can win that fight.
