Here’s the problem, and alot of people are forgetting this.
This game is, and never will be, some “high level competitive” game, and it was never intended to be.
This game was designed to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their skill level at gaming. Balancing the game and only catering to the requests of those who consider themselves to be some of the “best gamers ever to grace gaming” is counterproductive.
The game is marketed to fans of Predator, especially the 87 movie. “Experience the thrill of the hunt…” was how it was sold. The target audience are casual games, who play for fun and entertainment, with the hopes of continuously drawing in new players.
For those who want the elite challenge, to fight top tier Predators and Fireteams, then that is why there are so many Discord groups and the option for Private Matches so that you guys can fight amongst yourselves. Some of you just need to go into Private, agree to use NO PERKS on either side, and get it over with and see who really is the best.
Most of us don’t really care about who the best players are, what we care about is that everyone gets to have fun during the match. I know fun is a strange concept to some, but that was the original point of computer games in the first place.
It’s just like Friday the 13th. It’s not meant to be a serious game.
If you’re not having a laugh, if all you’re doing is being sweaty tryhards during matches, then you’re doing it wrong.
