I laugh so much when I see people defending this game and these devs. There are a good portion of people in that forum that still think this game is a single player with bots like AvP 2010. Also the fact that company is small is not an excuse any more when you see that even if you put 200 video proof of the same bug they won’t fix anything. Bow bug is still there after 6 month. This game is already dead cause they are absolutly unable to understand how a multyplayer game should be.
HIGH LEVEL AND PUBS GAMES
When you can still destroy preds in 3 man squads it did nothing for top players. In randoms on the other hand, a nerf to med kits for something like 60% is a huge nerf. If nothing else you need to use it even 3 times to get full health if you’re really low, before it was once.
Before the patch was worse I am.sure. we used to win 3 vs 1 against Dice pretty consistently. Now if we do 3 vs 1 he will destroy us 10 games out of 10. You can see our warm up before challenge on prozi twitch and he literally destroy us without any effort.
We need longer missions for helping high level and we need to remove full invis at 45 to help randos. To compensate at high/intermediate and low level we need less damage by fireteam. I am super sure that this will make the game more fun for everyone. This 99% win rate as pred is pubs and 5% in private against premades must gone.

Indeed, version 2.06 is obviously superior to version 2.03 regarding balancing Predator vs. Fireteam. It can be considered more or less okay.
However, there is literally no balancing of the Predators weapons themselves. It seems like they select one or two weapons to buff for a new version.
Many weapons are useless as described. However, this is rather common in many games.
The Bow is not even a weapon. When you to shoot an arrow you get the wrist blade attack. @Courier @OldKingHamlet fix that shit. My threads are a full of comments. One had 800 and all people agreed with bow is too buggy because of this wrist blade random attack. Fix that issue the next update please.

You have to press the aim-down-sight button long enough. Otherwise, a melee attack starts instead of shooting an arrow.
Though, possibly, the Yautja Bow’s controls are bad by intention. Maybe, it shall serve only as a stealthy ranged weapon and it shall not be used to duel a fireteam at medium range (as many skilled players do).
Furthermore, the arrows’ velocity is far too low to hit skilled players reliably as you stated before.
I am sure it’s not because you can quick shot with every weapons. Bow as well, if you press right and left click you will do the quick shot. The bow bug is a confirmed bug that it is there since the beginning and they have never fixed it.
It happens with the disc too.
Disc can also go inside trees without the possibility to pick it up, sale for Combi Stick. That last can even go outside or under the map and they dont want to fix that.
My disc vanished three times, it entered the map and just vanished. There wasn’t even an icon of it, it was just gone.
I know about the Combi.
Maybe they want to fix some stuff, but just don’t know how.

Dont release game with glitches/bugs. Biggest initial turnoff is a game that doesnt play right. Also, it will give you more time in the future to create content instead of fixing things.

Optimize the game if it’s a cross platform game. You want players to be able to play is relatively similar conditions and encourage cross platform play.

Get actual top level gamers to play test the game. They will find glitches/bugs and exploits for you and will have a valuable inputs about balance.

Because the game can be played as teams and as randoms, nerf pre-mades (pre-battle option for a team nerf) to keep things level. Ranked matches would be a big help as well.

All I will say this about the so called game balance and I speak from FT perspective;
Yautja’s bane is broken, but not in the way arrow here points out. That perk is percentage based, which is a huge problem because it gives the most damage bonus to weapons that already deal a lot of damage and do not need it. Being percentage, it becomes an exponential bonus. That’s broken. It needs to be logarithmic. The more damage the weapon does, the less bonus it gets.
Nerfing FT weapon damage, at least for assault rifles, smgs and pistols is a big no. Those weapons are the only ones preventing zerkers from going full on rush melee. Predator melee is still OP and clash is proof of that. I play mostly FT and I get around 2 or 3 kills in clash before I die. When I get pred, I will kill 6 or 7 before I die and I just go wild melee rush with wristblades.
I wouldn’t mind if range is nerfed, but damage, that’s a big no from me. There has to be a penalty for rush melee preds.
You will kill melee rusher even without bane. Also I.would agree with a melee damage nerf for both sides.
and that’s how it should be. otherwise preds will always win with absolutely no fucking playing skill
Absolutly agree 100% , but the over all damage of the fireteam make impossibile even to play range because of the hit scan weapons vs projectile. Just nerf melee damage both sides and Bane or general fireteam Damage.

if you nerf damage output, preds won’t even engage in ranged attacks, they will go full in close combat and wipe everyone in a few seconds
It would be really boring to see a fist fight between FT and Pred. melee damage is alright. if you get caught alone, you deserve to die. If you engage against a full squad in melee, you deserve to die. Stupid tactics need stupid punishments
