Most players fight without honor on both factions
Do you consider an honorable fight when the last FT member is alive and requests a Knife/Wristblade fight or you say “fuck it” and blast the shit out of it?
If the match was hard or easy, does that affect your decision and if so, how does it affect it?

I usually try to duel them but most just run or shoot. If they want to duel though I will duel them with wrist blades only, the second a single bullet gets fired then you’re done. If they 2nd wind me I will blow up there and then.
So last night I had a pretty decent match.
It was the last guy, he got up on a rooftop and he had his knife out.
So I was like ooooh, nice.
Because I love doing duels.
So I pulled out my blades.
Hes pretty good at moving around with the knife, and eve. Though he healed 3 times with syringes he ended up winding me.
I just armed my bomb lol.
Typically I dont but, this team was pretty good so I was like sure why not.
But this is just me.
I have a thing where if you get me in a duel I just let you have the win.
Otherwise I woulda won but if you see me play youl realize I care more about having fun over winning the majority of the time.
All in all wasnt too bad.
But it has nothing to do with honor.
I just love the clash of a parry.
I love if you and the other guy get locked into a back and forth parry and it happens like 5 or 10 times in a row.
I always give a fair fight at the end if I see that the opponent is worthy, or asks for a fight while standing with a knife
I’ll take note next time. Unless you don’t consider me worthy… or I’m killed first, which usually happens against you, lol
I like knife fights, but the melee bug has been driving me crazy lately. around 1 in every 3 matches my melee eventually stops working for some reason. Usually after being netted but sometimes out of nowhere
but if the enemy asks for a fair fight and then takes out a machine gun and starts shooting, this is already some kind of disrespect

I’m always up for a knife vs wristblades fight! All they have to do is ask/show, but if they betray me I immediately go no mercy on them.
Had a hilarious match a long time ago where all 4 FT wanted to knife fight, so we started an impromptu Jungle Fight Club, and it was fucking hilarious! I ended up winning, and that was probably the most fun I have ever had or will ever have in a PHG match.
I’ve had too many last mans standing do the whole knife swipe taunt/tea bag of peace or whatever as I close in, only to pull out some pew pew at the last second thinking they’re smart. They usually regret it. Can’t blame them for trying though.

Soooooooo… had this scenario just last evening. A guy with the screen name Low Mercy Josh on Ps4, who I’ve faced several times, finds me destroying medkits on Excavation at the little tent behind the atvs. Hes Dutch. He pulls his knife and crouches for peace.
‘Ok’, I think. I crouch back. Then he swings the knife as he crouches. I took this as ‘Duel me.’ I was correct. I accepted. We each land a few swings and out of the bushes springs his team, guns-a-blazing! I escaped narrowly and healed. He tracked me down despite me moving several times (cloak my ass!) And begins tossing grenades at me in a tree!
‘Ok, fucker’, I think as I drop in and lay waste to him and claim him. Just then, his team catches up and opens fire. I escape again and heal up. I return and catch the beefy Support alone and claim him too. Just then the 2 Assaults call for reinforcement. I catch them and sword-pwn them both. I win, nearly dead and the match ends.
LMJ gets on his mic finally and yells GG. He means it. It was an odd, very close 6+ minutes for us all. I finally get my mic hooked up and ask if he had been setting a trap for me. I suspected as much but he says no. Then the screen cuts out to the title. Im inclined to believe him as I dont think he was part of a pre-made any time I’ve fought him. I think his teammates just saw a golden opportunity at a possible easy win and took it. Granted it didn’t pan out for them.
Every time I face this guy, he seems overcome with the desire to duel. Not sure why, but just because LMJ wanted to have an honorable 1 on 1, does not mean anyone else does. That’s the lesson here. Slaughter FT like pigs, because almost always they’ll do that to you.

Well, here’s the thing… He’s not a moron. As much as he wants the glorious 1v1, he also knows his team can see where he is, and can hear the pred slashing around. So he knows that either he was going to take you down by himself, or get downed by you and revived by his team. He really doesn’t have much to lose in that situation, so he could afford to be “honorable”… So trap or not, it was still slimey.
Moral of the story, save dueling for when you know you won’t be interrupted or they are indeed the last man standing.
