You thought I meant Xenomorphs didn’t you? Wrong!

I’m talking about lore expanding, new alien race on a new planet/environment for the predator to hunt. Of course make them like the fireteam but change up their missions, give them a out there kind of design, cool ass alien weapons (balanced to be on the level of FT weapons of course) and gadgets, and dope customisations.

Make them feel similar to the fireteam but different enough to the point they have their own unique stuff that stands them apart.

Of course have them only playable on their own planet sort of how battlefront 2 does it where on some maps you’re a droid or the others you’re a stormtrooper.

After all, the Yautja did hunt more than just humans and xenos. We just very rarely see them. ;)

I would like if Illfonic made a 3x10 mode set in the game preserve planet, and instead of humans preventing you to complete the missions, it’s aliens (river ghosts, Amengi, etc).

Sorry had my own suggestion a while back that is similar to this without the going to alien world’s bits.

The gist of it was about adding a kind of Big Game hunt to regular Hunt match. A way to add a bit of variety using tickets to decide the size and type of threat. Here’s a link if anyone is interested…

Grimm, I like the idea of alien worlds, I just think making new maps for them would be to time consuming. Definitely not against it, just trying to be realistic (that said my ticket system probably can’t use the current match making and that idea isn’t realistic on my part.)

The aliens I imagine hunting, if played by FT, aren’t generally humanoid or technically advanced. Amengi being the exception to the rule.
The problem being time again, but in more than one way.
First there’s the time it takes to realize an idea and build the sentient aliens, their culture, biology, weapons, lore. Something like the Amengi is already mostly done and could be added but another alien needs to have all that work done from scratch.
Second is more about info dumps, because the way the game is structured we can only ever get 2 or 3 sentences worth of info at a time and that means, there isn’t enough time to tell us enough to make it interesting.

I might try writing a second version of the Big Game idea now that I have a better grasp on the devs.
Very cool idea man, sorry if I sound discouraging about it.

I get what you mean. I just made this for fun I’m not actually expecting to see it especially given how long it’s taken them to give us another jungle map lol. But if they do put the time into it later down the line when the game has hopefully made a resurgence then it would definitely pay off.

Really this was just an idea for something to be added a lot later into the future. There’s a lot more they have to focus on at the moment. They gotta walk before they can run with this game.
