How fucking broken is this game?

Unreal Engine has console specific optimizations that are built-in to the engine (Think stuff like Nvidia DLSS and AMD’s FSR, but more)

But anyway… try and run the game with an explicit command line to force DX10 and you’ll see the “missing cooked content” error.

This game uses precompiled shaders… that’s the “cooked content” … and that’s why updates are so fucking huge even for a stupid class addition.

Normal well developed games, cook the content when you run them, like BFII and COD MWII do (compiling shaders message)

Normally, you prefer your GPU to compile the shaders, not use precompiled as they never run as good

I’m inclined to agree, but it makes one wonder how they made the aiming so clunky for Controllers.

From what I thought I remember, the game was originally going to be a PlayStation exclusive. I’m going to try to find the article.

Game is clunky because they never refined it

Illfonic has not improved in skill since Dead Alliance in regards to incorporating FPS aspects to games

It doesn’t matter if it was originally PlayStation exclusive if they’re just repackaging the same game within the same project file disabling nodes, in theory you could probably run a PC version of the game on PS4/5 with a modified game version

Won’t be a 1:1 I believe but you need to tell PSN version what to have enabled/disabled

And may I remind you, Batman: Arkham Knight was developed on UE3. It was developed for consoles AND PORTED for PC. The PC version was plagued with issues that took Rocksteady a year to fix with the studio that PORTED the game to PC, Iron Galaxy

I’m not sure why the fuck you’re trying to run the game in DX10, if it doesn’t like the support for DX10 it doesn’t equate to your claim of precompiled shaders, infact its like the exact opposite you want the shaders to be precompiled and if they didnt get cooked specifically while all other texture data, sounds, actors, controllers, and code did, that would be a major fuck up so you’re in the completely opposite end of the football field

You also fucked up big time, cooked content isn’t just fucking shaders and if you did your research you would know that

Cooked content is all the data on the levels/maps subsequent asset hierarchy, games are packaged with cooked content specific to platform and is essential when packaging games to be used

Your usage of precompiled shaders is also strange, you need to build lighting with both static and dynamic lighting so I don’t think you know the content and should point out specifically what you’re trying to callout within unreals public documentation or download unreal engine and get your hands dirty instead of forming fucked up conclusions, this is a error which the solution for some games is to run a DirectX troubleshooting tools that forces application to launch with specific versions of DirectX

If you had done testing and actual research instead seeing the error message from a botched false positive you would’ve actually figured out that this message barley even has to do with cooked content

this shit simply means, yeah we dont support that version of DirectX and is associated with reinstalls of DirectX, fucking with display adapter, and running DirectX on unsupported applications and PHG likes to run DX11

unreal can cook and package content to different platforms within the same project file and establish different versions by disabling or enabling code if they so desire, can even say fuck it and put PHG on a phone to melt the processor

@BeerWarrior66 I love how this mf’er and his crew always hid behind “bro we don’t hack, we don’t even know how to hack”, yet here he is showing knowledge of game structure and coding, and an intrinsic interest in tinkering, especially in UE4. At least enough of it to be able to code a basic ESP and aimbot. Sure, they can’t hack serverside like me (which is why they’re mad amateurs), but this mf’er just showed he defiinitely has ESP at a minimum, so what do you think those closest to him are using as well? No one gives a fuck about aimbot or esp, if you actually learned the game instead of making hacks and assuming there was no possibility of people being able to play the game without them you wouldn’t have turned into a meme

Really you can learn from the argument on DX10 up above, you see the information and form early conclusions without doing thorough enough testing nor have enough information in the first place, you would have to play with the players you demonize so much to even understand the disposition and difference within game knowledge from someone who has played since launch for quality vs quantity

The only difference between you and the predecessors calling hacks is that you created esp and aimbot for the sole purpose of using them against players you thought also had esp and aimbot, lack of inside information is reminded by constant by usage of elite player
