And I think you underestimate the strength of actual steel, especially some of the more advanced steel made these days. No, breaking after two hits from what is essentially just a powerswing from a 7ft roidrager isn’t going to break a steel combat blade and certainly isn’t something that needs to happen in game.
What needs to happen is that certain Predator players need to learn that Predator isn’t a guaranteed win option. That you can’t just rush a Fireteam in melee and expect to win. That you’re up against a 4 man squad of specialist trained military experts with extensive combat training and skills, and you are supposed to use all the huge advantages you have as a Predator to take them down…one by one. You know, you have Predkour, you have your cloak (which renders you TOTALLY invisible if you stand still for just 2 secs!! You can literally camp on the Fireteam, and if you’re smart you can down them all if you time your attacks right🙄), the Disc is the most overlooked and underrated weapon in your arsenal…there’s so many videos on YouTube of actual skilled Predator players taking down coordinated Fireteam players. They take their time and use strats…
So, Predator players quit whining about parry mechanics and git gud.
It’s not as easy as you think to parry a good Predator in melee especially on console with a controller, in the heat of the battle when your adrenaline going and your eyes are flitting all over trying to keep an eye on the Predator when he’s striking, leaping, striking, and generally not standing still and letting me shoot him like a good Preddy-boi.
