I have found with really tight knit groups to slam does a lot of damage then 1 to 2 hits they are down. Snipers are a pain. The bow is already fairly strong with down range fully charged headshot does 125, body 100, pop shots 50-75 depending on if its a body shot or head shot

Then you are definitely catching some weird runs. A slam in the open is almost always gonna cost half your health bar.
The bow headshot is difficult to pull off, especially at range on fast FT. It should play as such (if you can get the buggy bastard to charge) and be a 1 shot down. Iām okay with the body damage
True it is buggy with the charge shot, but I get away with it because zerk female and can tank a bit more and I had already hit them a few times before doing it. Sometimes yeah I lose 1/4 to 1/2 my health, but Iāve downed them all before they get me. I typically only do it if I feel confident
The game already has damage reduction proportional to range.
Actually, the snipers have very little damage drop already, and thatās part of the reason the bolt action is broken.
Dutch 2025 is the worst class, itās very easy to see that you dont play ft that much š. Support, Assault and 87 are the best classes by far.
There are some variable factors that can affect your experience and your way of judging:

most of people play only Pred and if they start play ft they will be of course garbage and braindead

some people play ft only to do daily challenge and they dont put effort on their gameplay

who play with cross platform ON or OFF

who played this game since day one

who played this game since day one as FT and Pred 50/50

who has friends to playing with as premade (duo/trio/full squad)
These things can vary for each of you, and only people with the same numbers of hours as pred and ft have the proper awareness of the state of the game. The reality is that Predator never been op, specially range , range was already garbage in the past because of the projectile + ttk low vs hitscan + fast ttk. Melee is garbage but against randoms is op, net gun as well. Illfonic made the game in a way that now good players can solo kill the Predator and randoms still struggle because of the new cloak. They made horrible changes. Took away the skill from the ft. People use to say that the best players are unbeatable but I would say if you play pubs every premades (even duo) are unbeatable or they can just hold an 99,9% win rate. They balanced around 1 player, so 1 good player āshould beā for their (illfonic) perpective, able to kill the Pred. By balancing in that way , noobs will still be trash , good players will win in solo 99% and premades (from duo to full squad) are unbeatable. Game is dead, no one play pred now , @Coffee2Go wait time is 2/4 mins now in europe because no one play Pred any more. Funny thing is that the name of the game is Predator Hunting Grounds. š

I donāt think they could possibly be this dumb. But also. Theyā¦ could be?? Cause letās be real honest here. If the predator dies and the FT lives the predator loses. Like cmon man that seems fairly obvious. Did the shark in jaws win? No he blew the fuck up and Brody had a laxed swim home. Did the predator in the film win? Uhh no he got smeshed with a log and blew the fuck up while Arnold got in a helicopter and no doubt boned the shit outa that little Central American gal they saved. Since fuckin when does blowing up while the enemy is alive mean you win lol

Well it has to do with the actual in game proof so if the win games hunt FT daily is up and the bomb detonates the daily doesnāt consider it a win for FT now the game says that a. Predator who does this retains there honor as they prevented itās tech from falling into the preys hands
So either itās a draw or the predator wins until there is a win games as predator daily we will never know for sure we can only guess
Letās put it like this. The fact you can even defuse is stupid. It makes 0 sense. If you went into the woods and killed a predator and it blew up, youād be like oh I won. Killing yourself because you canāt win doesnāt therefor mean the other guy loses. I get it, itās like a pride thing. But leave it at that. You lose with your pride. Itās not a win condition the game can call it whatever it wants but everyone with a functioning brain knows in a fight to the death the winner is the one whoās alive

but the fireteam objectives in a match are either secure a predator body or complete the objective and exfil as those are the win conditions for the daily
so that tells me killing a predator isnāt on the win condition list for the purposes of illfonicās data collection

and uh in competition you typcally go with what the game says is a draw or loss or win not with how the player feels
cause yāknow itās pretty bizarre when in a fighting game if the game says draw cause both players had equal health at a time out

A better way to put it is, if we play Mortal Kombat and you kill yourself, then claim I donāt win cause I didint kill you but you killed yourself. The point being is we realize the game recognizes a defuse as a win. But it should not. The point is whoever is dead is the loser. Unless of course you blow up the whole team with the bomb. Thatās a draw. WHICH I WISH WAS EVEN POSSIBLE BECAUSE THAT WOULD ADD AN EXTRA LEVEL OF INTENSITY TO THE GAME. Currently the only predator bombs going off are because the FT is maxed out and thereās no incentive to defuse and sit on top of a body. Itās so easy we could defuse it in actually less than 10 seconds every single time. The whole mechanic is a joke

If the team makes it out of the blast pred doesnāt win imo
If they die I give the win to the pred
If they defuse the fireteam wins
The bomb is a last resort it does mean the pred could be garbage and still win lol like a final last laugh (literally) unless they defuse

cause what your doing is disagreeing with the rules of the game that we have to begrudgingly put up with
do i agree with those rules? not necessarily as itās taught me to when in a match iāve deemed unwinnable (due to lack of medkits) i simply self detonate using the plasma canon cause the game says itās a draw/loss for the FT is this a good thing? no no itās not iād love for it to be changed but itās what we have to work with
as right now what we are doing is complaining about the rules that which one wins the game
and obviously in a straight fight to the death irl yes the winner is the one that is not alive thatās how war works also
but this is a game with win/loss and draw situations (not so clearly) displayed whether you agree with them or not doesnāt matter unless those that created the game changes it
