I blame the balance

Gotcha šŸ‘

Well that’s rather good to hear I must admit. There are a lot of variables though (PC vs PS4, Crossplay on/off, experience level of FT going against for some examples) that will impact that win loss rate of yours. I don’t think level factors in for match making but it might.
In my recent experience though, I can either hold the pred or push objective quickly and effectively enough on my own that the average Pred loses most matches. That’s with randoms, forget with high tier FT players like some on here.

Perhaps thry dint see it as 50/50, but they won’t admit to it. At first pred melee was OP, they nerfed that. Then pred long range was OP, they nerfed that. Thrn snipers were OP, the buffed cloak. Other than that i don’t knowhow they view balance

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying make predator way overpowered, but there is no reason I should be melted in 10 seconds by broken builds premades have made. perks honestly just need balanced or made not to stack to make it a bit more 50-50

predator long range is not even op at all or was before… only thing which i will label as OP would be one shot plasma blast at beta and week 1 xD…

Snipers are OP still and even more deadlier now and thats why i left … main reason is i cause i cba to wait 15 min to get the match cause im from EUROPE and literally 80% of population is playing from AMERICA…

The only balance that needs to happen is make predator deadlier and unhittable from long range… or in general long range… he should be super deadly from long ranges… at close range he should be deadly but easily to kill cause that’s literally realistic… but not by one guy lol…

We’ll see. My only hope for pred now is 3v12, but it’s not an easy mode to implement to mirror hunt. I imagine rage quitting could be a big problems once the possibility of winning is very low

With the current ā€œbalance changesā€ you will get fucking stomped easily if people literally just run dutch and sniper loadouts with speed + dmg…

They will all main one predator then kill him then kill other one then third and done… thats why i also left i dont see any reason playing…

Well, I am currently level 101, but I have played my fair share of FT to get the idea of what they can build, objectives, map knowledge, where they spawn, etc. To better understand how to hunt them. So far, the most success I have is setting up before they get to the obj. and setting trackers and bear traps. From there I poke down there health a bit before jumping in and downing all if not most. I’ve learned a lot of players are not used to that so they panic and separate. Then, I quick claim and bounce back out so they are down one and badly hurt. Next, bounce back in and do it again or take out the ones who distance themselves from the group and quick claim again. I simply use guerilla warfare tactics because it seems to be the most effective rather than just rushing in or trying to stealth in.

I actually had some great ideas for that to balance it so it wasn’t exactly a 3v12 but more of a competitive 3 vs a cooperative 12, which I think would be much more fair and balanced. Frankly though I don’t see it happening

I think before 2.0 you could kill lesser HP units with charged bow headshot + regular headshot, pistol was OP for sure and combi throw was pretty good too - i think headshot also killed lesser HP units

They did…

I don’t think the mode will be a straight 3 v 12. There will be some gimmick, like FTs being separated

I thought of it to be like

Lets say…

first squad of 4 defends the entrance to something (patrolling and giving intel to other teams
second squad of 4 is exploring along side team third and giving them the things to do to go home
third squad of 4 is doing objectives that have been explored

Team of predator of 3’s have to first kill the first squad of fireteam then move to the place where other two are located at

Well just see what it is once it’s out. Im expecting a sheetstorm, but I’m still curious about pred’s communicating. ā€˜want some candy?’ ā€˜no thanks, I’m diabetic’ šŸ˜‚

Yes, something like that would make things favorable for preds

I would probably think of like a map for it too…

Antarctica map of also a temple
Abandoned temple island in the jungle

This is pretty standard and effective until you run into tight knits or truly solid snipers. There are guys that can give you hell at range, and lots that won’t let you get that quick claim with going SW, then run you down.

Also don’t misunderstand when I say pred needs a damage buff. I’m not talking heavy, but bow and combi headshots should be rewarded at range. PC is fine, and I don’t really have a problem with Melee either.

Right, though I would like for it to work on more than one map.

But, back to my original point. If illfonic sees 65:35 for FT, what if we make a ā€˜pred loses all games day’. That will change things to about 75:25 for FT and illfonic will buff pred 😁

I think @Mith will like this conspiracy theory

I was more in the thought of preds have to mark their kills. If a pred kills another preds marked target, that’s bad blood, and now you’re open season. Kill an unmarked target, it doesn’t count

Adds a whole new dynamic to the game that way. You can’t actually cooperate and just rain down plasma, gotta be more calculated and precise
