You have google you can look up examples of limited speech in America if that’s your thing, if my example wasn’t perfect it really is no skin off my teeth. Issuing threats is the real argument you should be interested in countering.

Also, I’ve always wondered what the absolute free speech people think of, non disclosure agreements limitIng speech even if you have it as a core right, doesn’t that create a situation where speech should be unrestricted regardless of your signature.

Free speech is not an argument against moderation, deleting comments or banning people from a forum. Those things have nothing to do with one another, this place is someone’s property and they get to decide what stays or goes.

Anyway, I think I’m moving on to other topics now. A conversation has been started and while I would have appreciated a more friendly response from whoever, seeing a lock symbol was good enough.

I am not into that, I was just enjoying having a debate with you. In your example there was no threat, but I’m sure there are enough examples out there to support your opinion to make this a very hot topic.

And yep, free speech does not extend into “private property” and the owners of said property have the right to say what can and what cannot fly there.

Your welcome, and issuing threats was in the same comment as the girl. It’s the real argument against absolute free speech as both can’t be at the same time. I did enjoy our chat but am not interested in having similar convos with everyone. They strike me as less polite and the conversation wouldn’t be nearly as good.

I think these times are as good as they’ve ever been. Compare to the death and destruction of previous centuries.

Some people just argue on every thread. Not debate or contribute. Just argue. Others are clearly children or broken adults who just spout garbage. Most of us are pretty reasonable and don’t take things above the debating level.

I think as it’s a game for adults we can have an adult forum. Parents shouldn’t be letting their brats play this game anyway. They just make it worse. Like GTA online is almost ruined by screaming kids.
