I dont mind getting my ass handed to me by PCDS, but this is just trolling.

I can also confirm a similar experience, I was expecting to see mostly console players, since I assume their population dwarf’s pc, but I’m bumping into a lot of pc folk.

PC got a serious influx of players thanks to the latest sale. Specially on epic, with the coupon game is like $10 I believe

When it comes to region, I’ve noticed if the group leader is located let’s say in US, we’ll always or 99% of games, fight players from that region.

Last week I played with Giva, he was the leader and waiting queues for FT were up to 5 minutes and my ping was always high.

As soon as I left the group and queued, I got a match in 30 sec and low ping.

I’m in EU, Giva is from Brazil.

About matchmaking, I think it doesn’t exist tbh.
I’ve played for 7-8 months pubs only by myself and I’ve fought top level players while I was just beginning to play and on 150 lvl I’ve fought beside complete idiot’s as FT and against Preds who only knew how to use wristblades.

I mean… I dunno man… me an chopra play together a lot… as soon as we add hanzo (from india) our queue times go up and my ping becomes shit…

and Im always party leader

That’s weird.

Blackcat only has 2 videos on his twitch on PHG and they are both from last year.
I cannot find any videos of Blademaster.

Unless you can show me a player that can go against a DS with the specific perks I mentioned and has a win to lose ratio that is decent (actually forget about the win/lose ratio, I 'll be satisfied if the Pred player can claim 1 or 2 people per match, even if they end up getting reinforced and escaping at the end or the predator killed),
I stick to my opinion that these SPECIFIC perks make playing against a DS pointless.
This thread is about the use of these perks, not about DS being too hard to beat in general.

Getting “spotted” means that the whole team knows where you are, and not only you lose any element of surprise on them but they are now are all rushing towards you.
The only thing you can do is run away.
It doesnt even matter if you can avoid the snipper shots like you said.
You 're losing time by having to hide and approach from a different angle.

And I dont remember down talking to you, so do me a favor and don’t call me a “kiddo” again.

She only started playing like 3 or 4 months ago and has dozens of videos on her account. You must not have found the correct twitch account.

That wont happen, some people are just searching for squads like them like me with crossplay off on pc. Sadly I haven’t had any success finding them recently.

Are you talking about DS in general or a DS that is using the spotting perks I mention here?

Most of these squads use these perks, i hate them too, trust me. Its stupid that the ft have 9 sec wallhack and can revive each other in 1 sec.
But I rather play against those squads than retarded potatoes. Quick matches are mostly just a waste of time for me. 5+ min for a lobby and the match ends in 2… but when I find a squad like them (there aren’t many squads like them tho, maybe 4 or 5) the match will be interesting and challenging

Like people say there is a huge gap between randoms and premades, but there are decent random players too.
I liked going against DS as well and I agree playing against completely new players is not worth it.

But are you telling me that you played against a DS with these perks and you were able to control the match at any point?

I mean it was already difficult to get a chance to attack them, but now I dont even get to attack, I just run until the spotted marker is off my back.

As I said I haven’t played against psycho, mojo, riktig etc recently. But yes I win my matches against DS, probably more than I lose. Depending on the DS. From the random deathsquads psycho, mojo s team is probably the best, so I dont know who will control the match. I mostly play privates. And there I rarely play pred. But then I play against people like gessp samhain Thunderwolf and other russians. I would say they are the best FT, because they melt me without stupid perks like tracker or field medic. I think I win like 3 matches out of 10 against them but only because of the disc lol. If they would use tracker and field medic I would win like 0.5 of 10 or something lol.
Maybe I will encounter the team you faced in the next days. Psychobabas ranked samhain as top tier predator, I would I would rank myself slightly worse or better than him, I don’t know. Against their team I would maybe win 3 out of 10 matches or more I have o clue since I haven’t faced them since the new pred specializations.

Cool!
Yeah I ve seen you in some of Samhein’s videos :)
I am definitely not as good as you, but I was ok with being able to survive the match and occasionally claim 1 or 2 people, given that I am not training frantically like these players do.

I guess you first need to refresh your skills as Pred before you play against Psycho’s team especially now that they use PDLs and 9 sec perk.

I agree with you that Psycho’s team is probably the best, thats why I was suprised to see them use these perks, which Mojo explained to me that this is what they use now against top predators and they dont want to change to a less hardcore loadout each time they come across a predator that isn’t as good as the top tier ones (like in my case).

If you happen to play again against any DS that uses those perks, I would love to hear how you rank the experience regarding balance.

I can tell you which pred loadouts are the most challenging.

  • Elder stalker ( Gesp style): one full charged plasma shot, you are down, can’t revive even with field medic because a second full charge will hit you after 2 secs. You don’t know where the shots come from because Gesp usually aims in another direction and he suddenly points at you hitting you full plasma so you can’t see the red beam even without dithered lenses.

Elder stalker (disc play): everybody knows that 3 discs is OP especially given the fact the every top tier disc pred uses DPI quick change to have ultra control on disc and do 180° turns and stuff like that (an abuse, imho, but this is my point of view)

Pair these tactics with insta- bear trap (more thunderwolf style) and you have a nightmare of a match

Both these scenarios involve a certain percentage of luck on both sides.

Sure, many have mentioned (not only on my thread) that the Elder Stacker is the way to go.
I am just a bit dissapopinted about it though, because it seems to be the ONLY way to go.
That’s why I am complaining about the current balance against DS.
I appreciate the advice!

I am aware about this too, I watch Samhein’s videos often : )
I generally try to play if possible without using exploits.
I even feel bad when I have to spam plasma or I see that someone is standing close to the wall inside a building and I shoot a plasma shot on that wall to deal damage to him in the interior of the building.

Switching your dpi is not an exploit.

You re not wrong, I guess some people see it as the devs designed the disk to be powerfull, but not so agile, and finding a way around that pisses them off.
You re free to change your dpi obviously haha but i can understand why people would see it as an abuse regarding the disc.

You see in my previous response I even feel I am abusing the game when I shoot a building from outside to get someone who is next to the wall inside it.

But then again we are talking about a game where the Predator’s blood/ cannon’s laser pointer can be seen on the ceiling while you re standing inside a building and the predator on the roof!

It’s no more an exploit than mouse aiming against console players in and of itself I think personally.
