Basically,
Just make a predator game similar to Monster Hunter, but the Hunters are predators and the monsters are aliens from multiple planets.
Goals:
- Hunt alone or in groups, up to three.
- Collect trophy skulls. Trophies will be distinguished between hunted alone or in a group.
Gameplay: predators will have well defined strengths and weaknesses depending on their body type and skill set. Prey will very in difficulty by speed, damage out put, health, herd behavior, intelligence, venom, etc. (developing a good AI to meet these requirements would be the biggest development challenge) Game will vary by planet and locale terrain and climate. Traveling will be similar to Borderlands 3. Leveling will be similar to Monster Hunter. The more trophies you collect, the better armor and weapons you’ll have access to, and higher quality trophies will give more rewards. Movement styled similarly to Ghosts of Tsushima but modified to account for leaping into and across trees would work well.

This is very bare bones, but that’s the outline. Obviously, story elements surrounding honor and bravery would need to be added. Redemption is always a good motive for the main character. 🤷♂️ Sounds fun to me.
