I think Target Isolation on round start should be tweaked

Nice! I see someone came to a conclusion yesterday haha!

Good point, fully agree. A small delay in target isolation is required at the start of the match. It will make for a more engaging start of the match, both for the Predator (you gotta search each game) and the fireteam’s stealth actually working at the start.

Are you 100% sure about this? I used to use scan right as it was cooled off and nothing would pop, this is why when I play FT with a rando who doesn’t mud up I go bonkers lol. I hold off Iso and I just jump my way towards logical mission areas and listen, I don’t target iso until after 3 min when mud wears off. the target iso on the actual map is kind of a spoiler so I avoid using it. It’s at a point now where either side needs to set personal handicaps to make the matches more challenging and fun. I despise anyone who ends a match in 2 min, I don’t see the point

amen brother 99% of my games dont even make it to the 7:00 minute counter of the missions. been on level 100 for ages and i still havnt experienced a game where the clock runs out.

I also know from playing Predator it’s a pretty steep learning curve at first, so if I’m playing with friends I won’t chase them down and kill them fast, let the revive and move on. I want matches to be fun and tense, I want the community to get better as a whole and the meta to be full of players that got time to learn. We all know that isn’t easy sitting in line 6-15 min to get a match as Predator. I will only punish those who jump in as a Zerker in the first encounter and try to spam combi, it’s parry all day until you learn to actually hunt and draw out matches. I’ve been pretty lucky the past week getting good matches as FT or Pred with quality opponents on either side.

Just so he can read it again.

Look. Just because your in-game experience has Predator who doesn’t arrive within expected time doesn’t prove anything. Target isolation scans you BEFORE you mud up. I offered you a private match for the sake of recording it and you chose no to accept it. Take that L and just admit the fact that you would rather stay off of it because you are afraid to test it out. Because after we test it you would be apologizing me.

Oh I can read. I can also see. And I see you haven’t made a single counter argument to my latest reply to you. That I see too.

100% we tested it in private matches. ISO gives u a scan right before the FT can do their fastest mud up. Easiest way to check it? Do a private match and invite friends to make them mud up ASAP while Pred player presses scan asap too.

I’ll certainly give it a go, we try and play test everything in private and if this is true the cool down needs to be extended.

@Sharpy_47 you’ve had plenty of counter arguments. At this point everybody knows you are just talking for the sake of talking.

You can keep repeating and quoting, but nobody agrees with you. You have lost the debat and yourself. But please, keep your fingers in your ears and go ‘lalalalalaa cant hear you, Im right.’

I find you quite amusing.

I see you don’t even get the idea what rambling without any backing up is nor you see the difference between that and what makes an argument. In any case all of those ramblings were proven wrong.

That’s usually what I hear when people can’t defend their statements for shit lol.

That’s usually what happens when you have to repeat yourself. You save your time and quote it.

You are a great example of that. So here you go: "I see you don’t even get the idea what rambling without any backing up is not you see the difference between that and what makes an argument. In any case all of those ramblings were proven wrong."

I find you quite funny because now that your buddies are gone it’s just you. Who seem to be even more incapable of making any legit point whatsoever.

This has been my last 10 games in a row lol

It’s true, it doesn’t matter. Predator can use it’s scan the moment the 15:00 timer starts ticking. Fireteam can finish their mudding as fast as 14:58 seconds. Meaning, as Pred you have 2 seconds to scan them in minimalist situations. Scan and you know their starting location.

On the other hand. You always spawn opposite of the FT. It’s always one out of two locations. Sprint to the center of the map, and listen. You don’t need the scan, it just makes it much easier.

Sharp, did you just exploit your way out of a slam! :o

Im trying to break records here in pubs while not private matches. Figured why not go all in then lol

@Sharpy_47 still trying to have the last word? The others must have mudded up so you cant see them.

Already did.

Original comment. Gotta give it 10 bruh

My experience too but apparently it’s wrong.

Well I tried to be nice but got another raving answer. Maybe on PC the differences in computer speed affects loading times or something so some people don’t get time to mud up. Just an idea.

All I’m saying is when I play pred i use isolation soon as it’s ready and USUALLY, not always but usually see nothing but pigs. When I’m FT we usually mud up instantly and we don’t get found right away.

That’s what has truly been my experience. TBH it matters so little that a few seconds more cool down won’t make a huge difference to the end result as preds can cross the map so fast they can still find the FT quickly because they usually spawn directly opposite so you just go that direction with or without isolation and you’ll usually find them.
