I do not agree, there will be quite a bit of content added to this game over its life. Weâre at 4 months, but in about 2 years there will likely have been about 6 large patches in that time, plus monthly cosmetics.
The number of modes we get might not be as high but I think weâll probably get at least 1 if not 2 new modes a year.
Games in this genre do get large content wise, but it takes years.
No, I donât. I had the game pre-ordered myself on PC but when I saw how bad the first version of the '87 skin was I cancelled it. Even the newer iteration of it does not satisfy me.
Also I do not mind others to have access to the skin, so this way there is more chance to play against those Predators.

Wrong. You could keep the pre-order skin (inaccurate) and new one for free but now you are stuck with the former only.

If they wanted to release JH as a skin for everyone as dlc then they shouldnât have made him exclusive, that is why they released elder who is essentially the exact same to appease all those who didnât preorder. You can call people greedy or zealots for wanting to keep a skin that was marketed as exclusive but thatâs entirely on Illfonic.â
There is a difference here that the pre-order skin is exclusive and a new skin not. So no legal issues here because nobody promised '87 JH X skin to anybody.
And thatâs not childish? To give people an exclusive skin for preordering and then release the exact same to everyone who didnât but with very minor details that would be unnoticeable to most people just to keep those people happy. Doing that would create 3 total skins that are damn near identical, JH, Elder, and JHx. What would even be the point of the OG JH if the new and improved came out that is more movie accurate? At that point why not just fix the current one.
All the whining is childish.
Letâs say we have two choices.
- OG JH is for pre-order zealots and not zealots to keep. And there is no resources to fix it.
- The new one available in some way for everyone thanks to potential DLC income.
So which choice is better for all of us? 1 or 2?
Could you maybe remove the bias from youâre choices?
PS. It should not be released, regardless of any vote the players take part in. Giving it away or selling it shows no respect for those who bothered to preorder. While I donât personally like preorder rewards, if they are given, they need to be treated as exclusive.

But that next run wonât include the code⌠Hence exclusivity. NECA was crystal clear that not every alpha would come with the code, thatâs why there were 2 different prices.
