Whereas in DC the mayor immediately requested aide. Was granted, and remains as of right now for additional security.

Im not serious at all about this, but the left should really consider the possible consequences of their action with such labels. Do you really want words white supremacists to become a new staple. The real one will feel more at home will be less deterred with their actions.
Again the motive boils down to the same. I could even (devils advocate) say the media and politicians flamed what happened over the summer the exact same way. The BLM riots were a reaction to a perceived injustice of racial inequality. One could make an argument race had nothing to do with it, and that police brutality and excessive use of force by police isn’t exclusive to race. Yet media and politicians placed it solely on the shoulders of racism, lying to the people in order to stir them up during an election year in order to gain political points.
But I digress. At this point I’ve said all I care to say on the matter anymore. Every one is entitled to their perspective on current events. I’m simply trying to reasonably explain the other side.
Impossible. Most of the left platform is based on praising people for their identity and demonizing thought crimes. Doesn’t affect them whatsoever, makes a case for censorship, and earns them brownie points so they don’t have to consider a stance on actual issues other than the issues they have created to resolve for themselves, like the heroes of their own story.

Demonizing on such a scale could be dangerous. Just being the called the right is fine, cause it still reflects this counties founding principles. Being called a white supremacist might give way to a unification under dangeroud beliefs. Given a charismatic leader, as trump, he can spin this to a level much worse that the Capitol protests/riots. It won’t happen, but its a dangerous game by the left
