Isabelle was one thing, and more contemporary type of character, trained in warfare and weapons. Makes sense.

Its the blind optimism. Same as when we were having regular updates, always hoping for this and that, but it never came. Difference this time is we honestly DON’T know what’s coming, we don’t have the list of datamined Preds like last time to go off of. Likely won’t know until the next patch is mined.

I haven’t looked into but my guess is they’re hitting the well again. I never played or bothered with Ghostbusters but I’m betting outside Friday the 13th this is their best seller and they funds are running low so they’re milking for another project

I think your right. PHG really is the most fun game Illfonic has released. I couldn’t get into Ghostbusters…

I’d also like to further say that the Fanatic/Reckless exploit needs to be fixed going forward. I was playing Pred for a few hours last night, ran into one and while I held my own for a bit (it was a war of attrition on top of a rock, pretty epic ngl), I suffered a loss. And I hate losing to bullshit. I’ve beaten two before, but they present such a stupidly overwhelming challenge. And yes, I am a known user of it, or at least was because I considered the game dead and didn’t care, now I’m trying to play legit. Still, nevertheless, it needs to be addressed. I’m not a fan of starting a match as Pred anxious as fuck over if there’s a Fanatic on the team, then coming up with ways to deal with it if they activate it.

Oh yeah, PHG still sells a lot of units, which is probably why they’ve chosen to renew contracts and negotiate and shit to keep it alive. They saw its still making money and it still has a high player base.

A single player KKFOS game would have been great, something to expand the story and lore since fans have been begging for a sequel the last four decades. But as an asym, I don’t see it lasting for very long. Most asyms don’t, unfortunately (Evil Dead, TCM)
