insultingly and offensively in this case, but not racistly. if you think that you have to be white to be american, i guess that in your mind it could be racist, but that would be on you. here in the US you can be a gringo regardless of your ethnicity, as long as you are a dickhead when you interact with spanish and portuguese speaking people, and that’s what makes america great

Actually I have been denied a job due to the nationality of what I am my very first job was a Japanese steakhouse in Florida they were owned by Vietnamese people that were really cool my bosses name was Tian Lee.
When I had to move back to Ohio I tried getting a job at many different Chinese restaurants or Japanese steak houses but could never land the job due to cultural ethnicity and them not believing me or thinking I’m capable of the job.
So yes I have experienced this and I also have experience with bullies and people being hateful I’m very good at knowing the tone and situation one thing I’m not good at is executing what I mean in a proper way where everyone can understand where I’m coming from but I don’t know if that’s gonna ever be possible because everyone looks at everything differently.
Bottom line the word Gringo is not being used friendly here and it is used to refer to one’s cultural nationality or ethnicity it’s a way to point somebody out and say they’re different based upon things they cannot change that in itself as a form of bias and since it’s not used friendly here & it is rather offensive there’s no excuses that’s how I feel & think you disagree along with your friends that’s fine but again none of you can explain how it’s being used here that’s my issue aswell

Someone made a troll photo of me so I made it better & put it only on the forums. I figured if you can’t laugh at yourself what’s the point that. I’ve learned what’s funny is funny and sometimes we need to just learn to laugh.

Surprisingly, in Latin America racism isn’t indoctrinated the way it is here in the USA.
So the word ‘gringo’ is not used in a racial way. Even if someone was to call a white American ‘you stupid gringo’ would be the same as calling a rich person ‘you stupid rich asshole’ like pointing out the obvious duhhhh…
But you know, some dumb gringos on this forum don’t seem to get it.
