There’s no need for you to explain why you do what you do. You have a job and you are expected to deliver certain results to your supervisors. You do you and that’s the end of it. Nobody here pays your salary and nobody here will put their job on the line for anyone. If you issue a ban or suspension because you think they deserve it, then people need to suck it up and stop protesting.
I’ve been given bans and suspensions in the past. Learned my lesson, muted those who are out there on a witch hunt because they don’t like me and moved on. Those who continuously complain and point fingers at others are the real problem here. And frankly I am pleased a lot of them got kicked out.
For being a Mature rated game, there are sure a lot of children in this game… and the forums, so it seems.
On the pornography, lewd, or any other similar material, it is a matter of legality in the USA. It doesn’t matter if the vast majority of the population is unaware of this, but according to federal law, it is unlawful in the USA.

What constitutes “obscene, lewd, lascivious, or filthy” is subjective, but unless you, as a company, want to spend thousands of dollars in court, is just better to avoid it altogether. Simply put, there’s not need for that kind of material around here and not worth the risk.

Yeah this has been a long time coming and the harsher the crackdown the better, things are on the up up and we’ll start getting better communication between those of us who care and the Devs. This is for the best.

Don’t derail the thread with your concept of forum elitism. I’ve been kind enough not share my opinion on yours. The communication is the fault of illfonic not the community. Again no reason was given and clearly none seen on my end for why I was muted. So I’ll simply have to repeat the mistake. Besides, general is one thing, it’s general for a reason. Feedback and bug reports are commonly left alone from most side bar conversations for a reason and there is almost never any back and forth on those threads.

I’m simply agreeing with Jelou. Take it up with him if you have a problem with this view.
That is highly debatable when the insults and even death threats to the devs is well documented, even here.

That issue was isolated and dealt with. I’d love to know how lack of basic acknowledgment of the audio bug or the quick switch bug that you yourself pointed out, then had to create a macro to counter, has to do with death threats or “insults” have to do with it.
We’ve all had some not nice things to say about the devs, including you. Hell you’re the pot calling the kettle black if you feel you’re saying insults create a lack of desire to respond to the community. Which is the root of the post and our frustration.
Understanding they can’t talk about future content was reached long ago but not acknowledging feedback/bug reports (“Hey I’ll pass these along to the right department! Thanks”) or again as I said, removing forum privileges without providing the reasoning so it can be avoided in the future?
That’s the problem we’re drawing attention to and the reason behind the post. Also, yeah seriously point out where anything I’ve ever said or done holds a candle to some of the shit mass said on this very post. I don’t really care about what he says for the most part I ignore him but seriously, where’s the line that’s crossed and how is he on the right side of jt?

I’m literally lost here. Public acknowledgment is not a requirement to me as a customer. However, they did acknowledged it to me on a private message. Whether they fix it or not, that’s on their end and it is not lack of communication, but rather lack of action (or simply they don’t have a solution for it without breaking other stuff).
I personally can’t recall any insults from my end to the devs. To other members? Hell yeah, and with valid reasons (IMO). I have no desire in communicating with those people or establishing any kind of dialogue. I’ve tried in the past and every time is the same story. So I just moved on and “los dejo por locos”.
As removing forum privileges without providing the reasoning, understand this… this is not a government agency. It is not a “freedom of speech” place. It is a private forum (requires membership) owned by a private entity. You do what you do but ultimately the owners of the forum will do as they please and they owe nobody nothing. It is what it is. People here seem to be to entitled to have things their way. People get banned on other social media platforms out of nowhere (create a new FB account and try to migrate all your friends from the other and let me know what happens in less than 24 hours). You can complain all you want, but it doesn’t change a thing. Your membership here is a privilege, and it can be taken away at any time for no reason. Don’t like it? Go somewhere else.

So when you feel they don’t need to acknowledge the flaws in their products when presented to them? That reporting an issue and having it not acknowledged is an acceptable practice? Seriously?
I’m pretty sure a quick search and I can find some unkind words in your history in regards to the developers. I know because I’ve always considered your criticism of the game kind of harsh, but that’s my opinion.
Understand this, it’s at the very least considered a courtesy to inform someone of wrong doing. Obviously I’m not about to take some form of legal action and have no grounds to. I’m certainly entitled to be a little pissed off at having to wonder what caused the action.
Do it. Other than incompetent, I don’t think you’ll find any other “insults”. And I quote it because I do not consider incompetent to be an insult, but an accurate description of someone’s lack of experience or poor skills for an assigned task.

Unfortunately for you the System seems to agree with a stance of zero tolerance for shenanigans from here on out.
Good thing @Fire and @Cadillackid were able to speak up at the time otherwise you’d be suspended until the 11th.
I’m pretty sure you would be pretty insulted if someone called you incompetent.
