Just cause a good player makes something shitty work don’t change it being shitty.
Importance of play style
zerk literally doesn’t suck. high health and gear. can tank and deal damage. I doubt you played zerk since they buffed that class since from what I have been told it use to be bad. But, people say scout is trash too and yet I believe its one of the best predators. Maybe you aren’t good with that class, but definitely doesn’t make the class bad. Just means, you aren’t good with it. 🤷♂️
The only time it happened I got out smarted and body blocked into a building. But the fact that they can completely block a giant ax or combat stick swung by a 300lbs + humanoid is just broken

I go off of how many I’ve killed with the people I play.
Zerks type classes are always the easiest.

Your premise is simply wrong. The Predator is not a fighter, humans are. The Predator is a HUNTER. Is a different mindset. Hunters don’t hunt multiple targets at the same time, unless they use traps. And even so, traps are usually reserved for either capture, or extermination of vermin. Not for trophy hunting.
I mean yes… but if that can’t be done it would also be broken because all pred has to do is jump in swing and everyone is dead like it happened before people realized you could parry the predator

Let’s take a zombie apocalypse.
Zombies are hunting humans right?
Do they set up traps and shit?
No.
Hunting for preds is just combat.
And different preds would think, act different ways.
So there would be those that would bring an arsenal to fight multiple targets effectively at once.
There would be those who kill off one by one.
Everyone is so hung up on only one style for preds.
They don’t work as a hive mind.
They have individual thought.
Or was I given faulty info somewhere along the line?

Hunting is different depending on who’s doing it was my point btw.

no they are not, they chase you when they see you, is different. they are not in the lookout tracking and stalking you like a hunter would do
also, there’s a lot of trophy hunting and food is not the only reason for hunting. that’s why is called a sport

That’s still fairly balanced and not many guns do that. Very few do. typically the AK, sniper, and one or two other assualt rifles melt you. But, only at close range and if you keep moving even when using melee you won’t be hit hardly. if you go for even a short claim right in front of the guy using the AK yeah you are about to get melted standing still for him even 5 seconds to do the quick claim. Otherwise, they typically don’t land most of their shots

If it was a 1v1 one game yes, but it’s not once you start multiplying the damage by 2, 3, and 4.

Predators are actually skillfull in the art of combat, there a hybrid yes they hunt but they can also do close combat due to the training they go through as Young Blood, saying they are just Hunters is invalid they are jack of all trades, they also adapt to what they are fighting so if they cant approach it like a hunter, they go for a more direct approach. And incase you didn’t know, they have to able to fight close quaters to fight a xeno usually.

And they already do in this game. I literally melted a field medic with thick skin in 5 swings with the sickle not even using fearless. The point being still is, you are not invincible. You can not jump into a 4 man team running Leader, two running assault deadly, and a support field medic with dexterous and not expect to get melted. The point is you adapt your playstyle to counter the team. You can’t just jump in every time and expect to wipe a team easily. It comes down to skill and planning. Just like games like COD. They all have guns, so equal footing, but next comes player skill. And you shouldn’t get buffed because your skill does not match the skilled player. Hence why I say adapt and change up your playstyle or lose. That is your choice, you also can’t expect to win every game. There will always be someone better than you or worse. This game takes teamwork on the FT side and genuine skill on the Predator side. Along with adaptability and planning.
