Tbh yeah. There are two sides to every story and while in a lot of those cases people probably deserve it. There is just as easily someone who doesnt. And whos day (and potentially life) you have just sabotaged without discretion.
Think of it like how we (america) bomb targets in the middle east with out drone strikes, without any thought to the lives that are going to be destroyed by those strikes. Its hard to picture from a news screen, but put yourself in their shoes. Imagine being there. Being someone who gets hit.

I only ruin the pedos life’s with confirmed cases and also have more than one conviction. I not going to ruin the 19 year olds car who was dating a girl all through hs and then when he turned 19 and her being 17 and they break uo and she says she was rapped that’s different. I look into ppls cases.

Brock Turner is that college student that was caught in the act rapeing a passed out girl that he was seen “escorting back to her dorm” by two of his fellow students that he then cried wolf saying that she was asking for it by being drunk. He then cried so much in prison that the judge gave him a lesser sentence because the judge thought he wouldn’t survive there lol.

Okay so here are some points id like to make. They arent justifications, but are certainly factors we need to take into account when judging someone.
A. He was 19. This is an age where sexual immaturity is still highly prevalent. Compound that with:
B. They were both intoxicated (as far as I can tell from the report), and black out drunk. He most certainly took advantage of her but as far as I can tell we dont know what took place between the party where they met, and the dumpster where they ended up. Its possible (while unconfirmed) that she was asking for it and “consenting” before passing out. Still, a shitty situation as it can go both ways and obviously them being drunk makes things complex.
My point being that this could have been a (albeit really fucking shitty) mistake that this guy wont ever be able to come back from because people like you hear sex offender and immediately jump to not only conclusions, but also run for your pitchforks and torches.
This guy is likely being forced to do some form of sex offender therapy alongside his probation or whatever else hes on, and can very well change.
But if you treat someone like a monster, eventually they will just say fuck it and be the monster you make them out to be because theres no point in doing anything more in their eyes.
And to clarify he didnt sexually assault a kid from what I read. It was a 22 year old woman. Just in case you were making connections that werent there.
It’s safer for everyone if you just catch them in a sting and post it online like Pedo Hunters on YouTube
They may actually learn from their mistakes.
At least people know who they are.

There are many factors to this point. But to sum it up. You have to recognize that in technicality we are only as humans, a moreso advanced form of animal.
One that up until the past few centuries (or less) has been War-ing and raping our way through time. We like to pretend like we are above these animalistic behaviors, and there is no doubt that there are those who are. But from everything ive seen in my days. We are only that way on the surface.
The internet has given us a buffer with which we can hide our true nature, and simultaneously feed it. And feed it many do.
I suspect that in some part this has to do with evolution. Just as a gazette thats never seen a cheetah, still recognizes it through instinct, we too are greatly infuenced from within. Some more so than others.
We quite simply havent had nearly enough time in the grand scheme of things to evolve out of these instincts. And our society today not only actively makes you feel ashamed of them, but also vilifies them. We have spent however long fighting nature with nurture. And quite honestly it isnt working. It never will work. Because we are all human, nature almost always wins.
The other side of the coin is the nurture. And i suspect that the nurture will only destabilize in the coming times. The internet gives the tools to circumvent society and do whatever the fuck we want. And while you see people getting stung all the time. I gurantee you for every 1 there is at least 4 more that will never be caught. (Worse yet is that its the truly fucked up ones that arent being caught because they know what they are doing is wrong).
Add onto that, that many people no longer have to fight to meet other needs such as shelter and food, and the only need they cant meet only grows stronger.
Im not saying any sex crime is justified. I am just saying that this black and white approach to anything sexual in our society is just breeding this shit and not helping anything.

It was a rough time. I got dumped by my high school crush about a year and a half earlier after 4 days. I met a chick online and she moved in with me for a year and put me through hell. Fucked me up in the head in the process. In my desperation for the second time I got catfished. You think that these people are just ugly and dont have self confidence. But I met one of the truly fucked up ones. One that kept lying even after caught. That fucked other dudes on the phone with me. Etc.
Some of them dont just wanna be loved. Some of them truly are maniacal. I never understood why. I wish I did but I was still broken from the relationship before that. So I didnt have the energy to really ever try to figure it out.
If you ever suspect someone of being a catfish. Make sure you google reverse image search every single photo they ever send you. Yes. Even the nudes. Ive had normal pice not get caught but then the nudes come back and show me they are using a pornstars pics. Shits crazy. Just reverse image search them pics.
Realtionships can be rough, I feel ya there.
I met one chick online and when she didn’t put out I stopped trying to meet chicks online lol.
It was worth every moment of pain.
