Well, they are very easy to break. Almost like breaking a carrot. If you ever find lobster or crab legs, its not hard to imagine Predator mandibles as they do look like them and if you ever have them cooked and break them off yourself in some fancy dinner place or wherever they sell cooked lobster/crab legs, you’ll get what I mean when I say how Predator mandibles can be easy to break off.
Second that, and I’d recommend snow crab. So good!

If they don’t have that they break very easily, a preds mandible is softer than a crab leg, thus more flexibility to avoid damage
it is more believable than Danny Glover falling down an elevator shaft at speed to then stop himself with his bare hands in a hole not much bigger than himself, then land on a Predator ship and kill said Predator 1v1 using the Predator’s smart disc 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I mean you are not wrong but not right either. Look at our fingers, its easy to break and easy to bite off. If they get hit by a mace full on, you bet your ass its easier to rip them out after taking a blow from a swung 6lb heavy piece of metal, seeing how they would be broken as fuck.
While they’re easy to break, that’s only when cooked. But to me, mandibles seem like they’d be more closely represented by a finger. Even if someone her size bent it back and broke it she wouldn’t be able to rip off a finger if it was already broken. Plus if it was already broken and squishy, shouldn’t that make it harder to rip since there’s more give?

The only reason she killed him is cuz the director ignored all logic. She shouldn’t have figured out he even used heat vision. The guy was playing dead ffs it doesn’t make sense she jumped to the heat vision conclusion. And even if it did make sense that she somehow figured it out, when she was cold he should’ve been able to see the heat from the fire making her skin warmer and he should’ve been able to see the cold silhouette standing there. Her cutting his arm off was also complete bs because the force of him deflecting the spear should’ve been way more than the force she used whacking him. And her ripping off his mandible should’ve felt like nothing to him. He cut off his arm and only sighed but he gets stabbed by a lil tooth and screams? Fuck off that makes no sense either. And she fact she was even able to do that too also makes no sense. Trachtenberg ignored every other part of the movie and anything that would make sense just to turn the battle in her favor. Pure bs
