Issues with Prey

Either way it’s far more realistic that moving was the issue, from a 2+2 perspective

Exactly my point :-)
She actually refers to the predator as “Mupitsl” which is some sort of folk booge man. So yeah, she did not have a clue about cold, thermal vision or laser guided smart weapons ;-)

The mud scene in trailer was red herring

I honestly thought that it will be the movies cheap way of doing hide and seek with predator - turned out to be something else - I liked that

I i did too. For the most part, a the homage scenes to other movies were well done. Something the pred faithful should appreciate.

He was shot in the head, I’d imagine some huge brain trauma is going on that he can’t think straight. I would think you know how that works when taking blows to the head? Which would work in Naru’s favor, as otherwise a more mentally stable Feral could have killed her easily.

The speargun, he had no idea the mask was going to be used against him, nor would he be able to see it better due to it being an object that would be cold and thus blend in with the environment. They have a limited range without the mask remember? I feel like this is super nit picking at this point, the film is fine. Some areas could have been better, but overall I give it a 8/10.

Still like my point, it’s far more elogical for a person to think that it’s playing dead that fooled him

I mean that’s why he played dead, to avoid detection.

No mask no thermal vision

Still a pure red vision would be limiting.

This is something else I had issues with. Shot in the head point blank with a flintlock pistol. It pierced and went all the way thru his head to knock his helmet off and he was still fine, but the tracking dart killed him doing the same thing the bullet did

The shot went inbetween the eyes did it not? Either way, multiple head shots will kill anything. A Predator’s head isn’t that thick so it makes sense.

That’s still the same thing. Bullet pierced the brain, completely functional. Arrow pierced the brain, dead

The first shot was the side of the head, the other one was closer the center and again, more shots to the head will kill.

Dawg she was behind him when she shot him. How else would the bullet have knocked off his mask. Either way it should’ve had the same impact. He was eating bullets and spears left and right all movie long, including the one naru put in his head, but an arrow did him in

I know that but what I’m saying is that he took a headshot but from the side rather then the middle. She didn’t know how to use the pistol properly, if she knew, she would had aimed in the middle of the head to get that brain kill in proper but it didn’t. The arrow did and thus finished the job.

" Remaining 1% is the scene when the idiot shoots himself in the head ;-) "

-Like… Naru have don’t see the harpoon, and was guiding by the mask-

-Like, the idiot as see his mask locking on him befor shooting ?

Yeah, i will think about it…

Not to mention they didn’t have rifling and proper tipped projectiles back then. That shot would have blown his head apart at that range and power

There is a difference between one shot to the gut and a hundred. Sometimes you need more.

Her brother knocked it off by a bonk to the back of the head let alone whip lash from a bullet

I was also puzzled as to why the cloaking system was not shorting out in water.

Also, I am not sure how she got the kill shot at the end with his mask. Why would he shoot arrows if he knew the mask was missing and it might target whatever it was pointing at?

Idfk man maybe I’m overthinking it. I just feel like it should’ve either taken more headshots based on the amount of damage he took thru the rest of the movie while it seemed nothing ever truly did him any harm, or he shouldn’t have been a huge bullet sponge so it would seem more likely that arrow would do him in
