Just a recap.

People seem to be getting into the habit of repeating things that have been mentioned since early on in this games life cycle, so il just mention everything again.
Mind you these were all mentioned in the first year, so of you mentioned after, it’s not your idea.

  1. To lower ft damage so one person cant sw a pred with a single clip.

  2. numerical data for stats.

  3. Ft weapons to be projectile, not hitscan.

  4. Pred stealth to be better so he cant be so easily tracked.

  5. Missions to be longer and harder, to have the difficulty that most games have for things like this, were the A.I. is an actual threat and the missions are challenging.

5-A. The pred to be able to sabotage the ft mission, leaving ft more choice but to just extract. Which is nothing new, most ft love to run to the chopper. Also the ability to merely disrupt as well. Such as cut off the ft from zues so the objective isnt marked on the map.

5-B. The ability to destroy the reinforcement radio.

  1. To be able to stealth kill ft at any given point in time, since it would be incredibly risky and difficult to pull off anyway.

6-A. The ability to disarm the ft, to add permanent injuries such as incapacitating a limb, such as cripple a leg so they cant sprint, or break an arm so they cant aim down sights.

6-B. Being able to destroy Ft guns, the mask can be destroyed, so only fair.

6-C. Better combat in general. The ability to knock down, push, and grab ft.

  1. For preds to have more useful gear and traps, such as explosives, status effects, ect.

  2. For movement to be better for both factions.

9.for each class on both factions to actually feel unique. Such as, Zerks and heavy pred classes to have a grab or knockdown ability, and for ft to have limited choices for guns and gear, but also for classes on both sides get one or two unique abilities and gear.

  1. Hunt mode with no major changes, that is a 2v8 or 2v10/12.

  2. Fix the bugs and performance issues. For the love of god please.

11-A. Fix the audio bug.
11-B. Seriously, please fix the audio bug.

  1. The ability to create public matches, with custom modifiers. A few people have asked for this.

  2. For predator to have lock on plasma caster. Could be limited to one or two preds, or a perk, ect.

  3. Destructible environments. Buildings and such.
    Make it so the game can handle it.

  4. For bear traps and motion sensors to not be easy to detect. Or destroy.

  5. The ability to open up multiple field lockers at once.

  6. A rematch option, a few people have wanted this since very early on as well.

  7. The ability to play as star gazer or guerillas.
    Essentially would require infinite A.I., but would allow players to spawn in as human enemies with pre set classes and are tasked with stopping The Ft player’s, and can also choose to fight pred as well. Would be it’s own que, solo possibly, maybe up to 6 players, and it’s own mode.

  8. A co-op mode where Pred and Ft team up.
    Fighting some extremely difficult boss at the end.

  9. The ability to throw barrels as pred.

  10. The ability to lower zues, a few people have wanted this since early on as well I think. To be honest would be kinda boring to not hear zues but a lot of boring people play this as well.

  11. The ability to shoot and destroy the pc and wrist computer. Tho as long as it’s no where near as weak as the mask, so be it.

22-A. Increase pred mask health by at least 3k.
This should apply to mask and pc, tho I could argue make it 5k. It shouldnt be easy to destroy.

  1. More vision modes and tracking options for pred.

  2. The ability to have some duel when only one ft is left. No idea how this would work but it’s been mentioned a lot.

  3. Make pred better, give pred more useful gear and weapons so in return ft can get toys as well.

  4. Give pred a chainsaw. This one’s from me. Started as a joke but eventually I started actually wanting one for pred.

  5. Also a whip. I’ve asked for this in the early months.
    I want to strangle the ft.

  6. The ability to arm the wrist bomb when whenever, and be able to move and leap while its counting down.

Theres a few more things I havent remembered I’m sure, but aside from the chainsaw, all these things were asked for by a LOT of players, since the start.

I dont expect this post to be considered, but I made this because it’s pretty annoying seeing a lot of newer players who werent around at the start, repeating things that many of us launch players have mentioned before, and acting like they came up with them.

From all I’ve been able to gather, either public or privy, communication is a huge issue between her and Illfonic as well. It seems like they tell her only what they want to. She passes on all the info, of course, but its like…imagine she’s knocking on a door with a stack of requests and bug reports and shit, they open the door, grab it, say “thx” and slam it. And this repeats, over and over. So while she is the most direct line to whoever is still left working on this game, what info is passed back to her is few and far between.

The rest of this, yes. Please, yes. Especially 11-A thru C, because I damn near went deaf twice because of that one bug that makes everything SUPERFUCKINGLOUD for three minutes.

Not that audio bug, I meant the one were you cant hear anything, but that one too. Btw I didnt mean for kass to communicate better by herself, I meant illfonic, the actual devs to speak on matters.

I am totally in agreement, except the last three suggestions. Especially, the wrist bomb, because it’s only function is to destroy yourself in case of capture. If you can still move, then you’re not really in danger of being captured.

I’m in agreement with most of these suggestions… but with the addition of not being able to troll with the plasma pistol and battle axe, like their current state.

I was just thinking that. Because some consider it a draw since the detonation prevents ft from completing the mission. I could see that being abused heavily xD

The chainsaw is just something I think would be cool to see, think a pred tech chainsaw. That ones purely me.

However the other two are ideas from others as well.
The whip I’ve wanted but it’s a pred wep from one of the movies. A whip of we get a better combat system would be incredibly fun.
Being able to disarm, or pull people close or just off their feet, things like that would make for fun and interesting gameplay.

As for the bomb activation while being alive, that ones from others people but it was requested by quite a few people. Could be considered trolling, but as a hail Mary play to try and win by blowing up the ft, it be interesting to see how many could pull it off. Even if it needed balancing.

But ya, I dont expect any of this stuff to happen, it’s just a recap.

Honestly the bullets being projectile for ft guns,
Numerical stats, and the chainsaw, are the only ones that purely came from me. Everything else is from other people, in one way or another.

Also I dont see what trolling can be done with either one, given that a good team or just anyone who can decently aim will shut down both of those.
I would say the disk is more dangerous.

But in order for any of this to work, we need a rework to have gameplay over all improved.

Lastly I would like to definitely focus on the pistol comment you made. Given that a sniper can two shot a mask off, and sw a pred in a few bullets, why is it trolling that a pred can clap back with decent damage?

Sorry, the axe I kinda understand, I don’t use it cause I dont like slow weapons, but I cant see shooting back at ft with good damage as trolling or a problem.

You’re right, improvements and overhauls across the board are essential right now. No disagreement there.

I have no issue with Pred shooting. Noticed how I didn’t mention the caster, only the Pistol. I swear it’s downing the weaker classes in 1 or 2 shots. Could be wrong, but I have heard there were buffs to it.

TBF the so called “hit scan” weapons is meh… I don’t feel bullet based weapons (aside from being super strong) feel any different than in any other FPS game I play.

This game maps are not big enough to have any bullet drop. And actually if you are far enough, the bullet simply does not even land and disappears in mid air.

No that’s possible if you land all 3 blast. Tho it’s not easy to land. Idk about one shot, but I think 2.

But given that, that’s matching ft dps, I dont see it as a problem. If this was back in the day in year one, I would agree it’s too strong. But with how crazy ft dps is, I say its fair. But I’d honestly love to see this game redone and improved. Wont happen but I can see this game having a lot of depth to it, stuff like each class feeling unique, the missions actually being challenging and A.I. being way more dangerous for ft and pred, ect.

I didnt write it here, but theres also special units that could be a danger for a careless pred, like A.I. stargazer.

That’s not true. I’ve landed shots from well over 150 meters, possibly 200? Maybe more not sure. Not too many vantage points to do it, but its possible. Branches may have blocked the shots, but I know the bullets dont just disappear.

Idk I feel the gunplay might actually feel better of it was. Tho 100 meters and under maybe it wouldnt make too much of a difference.

I think maybe I’m playing solo too frequently, and that’s where my frustrations are stemming from XD

It’s unfortunate too, because without the ft dps, and you’re solo-ing with inexperienced players, you can’t rely on anyone but yourself to ward the predator away.

Special units succckkk. Equally so for the ft, when Preds start destroying med-kits and the ft are forced to use their stimmys.

I reckon any adjustments or overhauls are preferrable to the status quo. I just hope it extends the game’s longevity.

Honestly I would love to see them listen and seriously consider implementing feedback.

I don’t know how many people remember or care, but that post made in the first month that was a huge survey and a lot of players took it, that being ignored and so many people leaving shortly after was honestly sad.

At this point all I really hope for is the performance to be improved, bugs fixed, and a 2v8.

200 meters is not a lot dude. In real-life or games

No that’s a pretty huge distance in terms of multiplayer map design, especially when most are arenas. Headquarters for example seems to be around 1.5, maybe 1.75 times the size of Blood Gulch, one of the larger maps in multiplayer shooter history. And the bullet drop & travel time is VERY noticeable in locales like that. So the fact you can beam someone instantly from the base to the end of the river in HQ is stupid design.

And every claim of “Well the distance engagements take place at in this game mean there’s no need for projectile weaponry” is 1. Bullshit because tons of other games with even shorter engagement ranges use projectile weapons, 2. just means there’s no reason the Pred shouldn’t also have Hitscan if this is the case then, and 3. is easily disproven by how slow caster bolts & the like travel in comparison to FT bullet’s, allowing FT to side step pretty much every bolt or arrow that comes their way.
