On the topic of Christianity, I used to be Methodist, helped run a few Episcopalian services during my time in the Boy Scouts, and now am nondenominational, meaning that I don’t follow a preset branch, but accept all who follow Christ.
I’ve seen the good the church can do, and that most people there are genuinely good people who want to help others. One of the reasons that I stay Christian, because even if I’m wrong and there is nothing, at least I’ll have lived a good life (or at least better than I would have if I didn’t try to fight the ASPD as much) and helped other people in need.

I would tend to agree with you, except on the numbers - there are, unfortunately, a lot more assholes out here than genuinely good people. But when they are good, they are like some of the most altruistic beings you will ever meet. A preist is my best friend, in fact. He came from a rough neighborhood and was part of a gang for most of his life, until he found happiness with the church. He’s a lovely character, and if the choice were mine I’d fire God and give my friend the job - he’d be way better at it.
How are we the only wholesome people on this forum? It’s really astounding.

Idk about that, I’m a half glass full kind of guy and I see lots of good people around. I just think shit like the news and social media just amplify all that bad shit as that always drives views and clicks. Eyes on the phone and on tv looking at all that, that we miss all the good happening around us.

I’ve spent a good deal of my life actually living, so I can empathise with the whole ‘media amplifying bullshit’. But, unfortunately, while there are many good people around, they are genuinely the ones getting killed by the army of assholes that makes up most of the human populace.
