Yes they beat them but it was done in all cases with extreme measures. Dutch used explosive arrows and a gunpowder bomb on the wooden log, Dutch basically was getting his ass handed to him till the Predator got too cocky and stepped right under what was pretty much half a tree trunk. It took more then guns and knifes for the Jungle Predator. Harrigan beat his Predator after the Predator had been shot up by gang members, got hit by lightning on top of the building, got frozen by the Feds freezer guns and took shotgun rounds to the chest, arms and legs then had it’s arm cut off and then finally had to use it’s own smart disc to beat him. Nolan used one of his own team as a trap filled with hand grenades then used its sight against it with fire and then was helped by the woman on his team with a chest shot and then had to use a Predators axe mace type weapon to finally take it down. So yeah in all cases the Predators were tough as nails.

It is funny how you guys always fall back on that go to. That is fine yes, yes, yes skills it all takes skills right. Well when you have the skills and the game glitches and does something you didn’t tell it to do that one slip up means death even for many of the most skilled Predators. That skill shit I am sorry is a cop out and a easy go to for FT mains that know their side has the clear advantage.

This game is highly unrealistic when it comes to the Predator and we all know this already. For this game to survive illfonic is going to have to offer more modes and play style options and most definitely a solo mode or story mode that offers good rewards and has somewhat of a good replay value or this too will go the way of Concrete Jungle when all those so skilled PvP players leave for bigger better games. Trust me I have seen it happen many, many times before. They have to think of all the Predator fans not just the one’s who came here to beat down on the Predator.

As a predator main 150 level (played like 5 fireteam games) i do not want predator to get buffed,i wouldn’t mind if he gets nerfed actually so i can get faster que times.So please no buff predator,maybe nerf a bit.

What ? Are you PS4 player ? Do you know that play vs full PC FireTeam - is pure hell ? In my opinion PC FT more stronger than any predator.

FT still gets easy kills. Hell, the one time “most” Preds get kills is when half the team or more are complete noobs playing on console… and using their TV for sound and not a headset.

I dont even bother chasing down Preds when I pop their 2nd wind anymore most of the time, havent for a long time. It’s too easy. I admit that there are some good pred players out there which actually give me personally some trouble, but even then if my FT loses it’s because there are some newbies on the team with like 0-300 dmg on the Pred. No joke, I tend to average at least 2k… max I’ve gotten was 6k+. And well, I play mostly with pubs and on PC, with maxed settings… unlike some others who claim they solo Preds.

Agreed. If you remove the knife parry and fix the pred bugs I think pred is actually in a good place.

Parrying is completely ridiculous. I mean the idea that you can block an attack with an army knife. But ok lets say you can.
WHY
IN GOD’S NAME
DOES IT
DAMAGE
THE PREDATOR?
Imo it should either:

  1. Cause slight damage to the FT member rather that receiving the full blow of the Pred’s attack or
  2. Cause no damage to either side and just be a mechanic that makes the predator spend more time trying to kill a FT member while the rest of the team tries to run in to assist.

In any case damaging the predator with a parry makes no sence, especially the amount of damage that it currently does.

when his teammates are near i jump away and attack from a other position with Laser or Smartdisc…

Iam not the best Predator but i dont jump brainless into the complete FT…

Oh I am! And boy oh boy does it work!
Still… parrying the predator and causing damage to the predator makes absolutely no sense!
I can accept the attack being blocked and exposing you to the rest of the team for them to damage you, but the current istuation where the person that parries the pred receiving a small amount of damage, while the predator gets seriously hurt, is absolutely non sensical and its just there to help casual FT members.
