Experienced this a couple of times while playing as FT, as the last man standing, wrecked the predator in 2 seconds much to my surprise. Don’t worry about people defending this crap while screaming at how pred players are to blame and that they should just get better, they are being dishonest

@richterbryan thou shall unleash the meme

It seems strange, maybe it was the triple attacks glitch or he Simply hit him with heavy attack and light attack eith the perk for damage. I don’t know.

OK WTF THAT NOT MACRO

You can do that by holding your specific melee key when you are bringing your weapon (not knife) than after 0.5 secs you have to start spamming the left click of mouse (while holding the specific meler key) and it does this glitch. I don’t use it, I tryed once to see if it works, and it works for real.

Man he got pimp handed that was crazy

Yeah. If you go frame by frame, he gets hit with a light melee right away, then the heavy does just enough damage to finish him. We don’t know the health of the city hunter, but the recon could have have Yautja’s bane stacked with heavy hitter.

That’s the risk a predator takes going for an honorable melee kill. Could have just used a bow or netgun or plasma pistol or spear throw.

Dude I’m sorry I don’t care what the perks are. No predator class should be damaged that quickly by a knife. That’s insane and retarded. It’s intarded.

Lol. My meme apply to you

The FT melee damage doesn’t bother me. But if you feel you need it reduced to win as predator, feel free to try to get the devs to change it.

Lol ok

I tested the knife today, against a Pred the parry does do damage but it’s extremely small. And I only tested on the Samurai because my friend had to go to work and that was the Pred he chose.

It takes 11 slashes to wind a Samurai Pred or 6 stabs without the Heavy Hitter melee damage increase perk. The Parry alone I was at like 16 before he had to go and not even close to winding the Pred. Which is different then what I think I have seen stated in other threads here. I believe it’s been said 3 or 4 parries to Wind the Pred.

Which I knew from personal experience was incorrect because I tend to wander and get targeted cause I’m alone away from the group(bad play on me). And after 4 Parries I was either dead or close to that. As I got better at alternating(meaning I stopped panicking so much) between slash to parry and then stabbing during the Preds stun I could second wind a Pred if I was lucky and still have about 28 life left depending on the Pred, usually a Hunter. I never mentioned it because it was anecdotal and I was unsure if my recollection was unbiased. So I tested today and plan on again when my friend gets off work.

I think the major issue must be the triple attack glitch. I play on PS and I haven’t done it so maybe it’s a PC only thing? I’m not sure cause I only have my own experiences to go on.

I play FT and Pred pretty equally and in my opinion hitscan is the thing a Pred should complain about. Either both Pred and Ft should have it or both should have projectile. I personally lean toward projectile. I mean there aare other things but I think hitscan is what makes sniping and coordinated teams so viable, not knives. Just my opinion.

What? Parrying alone doesn’t damage the predator. It damages the human a little.

Sometimes a heavy melee will first hit for damage then parry the predator. That must be what you’re all confused about.

I believe I saw Preds say the parry damaged them in some other threads and upon testing it does damage the Pred but a very small amount barely discernible in my match with my friend but it was there but no where as much as the FT gets damaged. And I stated in my post about the heavy and light attack, but I called it slash and stab so it would be hopefully clear. I think you misunderstood my post.

I mostly tested it to show that knifing a Pred isn’t as powerful as it’s made out in my opinion. I don’t talk in definite statements because I don’t like saying something is fact without being 100% sure it uncontestable. Hence I posted my observations in a match where there was some control over the situation to try and get a better representative of what happens in a parrying battle.

Heavy and light = slash and stab

Got it.

Yes. I misunderstood you. I can see now that we were in agreement. My bad.

What the hell? That’s crazy. I can’t believe people actually defend the knife while it’s like this.

I don’t know if that’s directed at me but if it is I didn’t defend it just offered some facts about it and suggested that perhaps hitscan is the thing Preds should be focusing on because that’s what seems to kill most good Preds. PC snipers, coordinated teams, in those instances it’s gun fire killing the Pred I believe.

You realize you can make fire team members with knifes look like idiots by using something they can’t parry like slam or plasma caster stick throw all can be done close up so in a way you can parry their parring

Not the point… If the game was designed to give FT superior melee capabilities, it should not have included so many melee tools for the predator. Do you assume that predator melee weapons are for cosmetic purposes?
