If all these FT mains want a balanced experience go play COD or Battlefield. I am sick of this BS already and it is all I read all over the forums and the Devs know there is an issue with a Predator that doesn’t scare anybody but they listen to these PvP players that scream for balance against the Universe’s best hunter race. It is a joke of a Predator experience and they all know it but we don’t want people to get butthurt they cannot beat on the Predator so they leave in all these cheap ass, weak tactics for the cry babies who don’t want to face off with a real Predator…

You’ll notice I don’t get similar treatment. Even when I am less than polite. It’s how you fraise things. Try not reducing those your speaking to, to arbitrary groups like PvP’ers and what not. I don’t think your a bad guy and would rather if you felt like you were part of the community.

I think it would help you a lot to try to see yourself as part of the whole.

Edit - yeah, maybe stop seeing as Pred mains and FT mains. It’s a competition in the match not outside of it. (I play both)

Well there are two groups of players last I checked so I call it as I see it and I don’t sugar coat things to make people feel all warm and cozy inside There are PvP players and PvE players in games. I just see that most not all but most PvP players ruin games for PvE players 9 out of 10 times because they demand more and more PvP content. This is not your normal PvP game it is a 4 vs 1. The 1 should have the clear advantage seeing that he or she is taking on 4 other players and AI to boot. But see that is not how those who play FT as mains think, they want a fair fight with the 1 player who has to take on everybody. That mindset, I am sorry is a serious joke and making the Predator even to humans is a joke. If they added in traps and explosives and all the other crazy stuff that was in the movies and comic books then I could see that happening but with just Earth guns and knives I really do see how at all. Yes it has to be enjoyable for all then make it enjoyable for all. Make killing the Predator realistic and boss level crazy not Boy Scout level crazy.

You seem confused, the P stands for player and a PvP is the same as a 4v1, think of it like this 4Players v 1Player.

PvE, is Player versus the Environment (which actually means bots, not just the environment.)

Predator Hunting Grounds is PvPvE.

Pretty much yeah. I have to circle strafe timing dance to melee fight just one FT. Usually I just back off and throw shit at them. Pussy Predator: Get hunted Grounds.

Each FT is actually fighting a series of 1v1’s while also completing objectives and guarding their teammates.

The Predator has 4, 1v1’s plus a small amount of damage to avoid from AI.

I just think illfonic should have stuck with the formula they used with Friday the 13th. Make killing the Predator something special not the way it is now. That is what a lot of other people were thinking was gonna happen. If I knew they were gonna run it this way before I placed my pre-order I would have thought twice. I still have hope though that they will see the errors of their way and bring it back to a tried and true formula where the movie monster is something to be feared. Hopefully at some point…
