I still have fun playing when it is work correctly, now there are way too many glitches playing as the Predator so I have taken a break till they work them out.

I stopped playing the online part of it way back before the rage patch in April 2019 came out. I only play the story challenges now for the crazy kills it allows you to do.
I got tired of the Jason chasers. It ruined the online part of the game for me.
Black Tower… they are a Japanese company.
Did illfonic allow them to modify their game by choice or was it that they lost the IP and Black Tower took over?

why what was different in the beta version of the game?
illfonic and Gun media split ways after the lawsuit, Black Tower was hired by Gun to bug fix and balance. Rage was the major balance change they added. Gun and illfonic’s split was amicable as far as I know.
Maybe one of the best things Gun did then was split from illfonic. I am not impressed so far with their work on this game. Cool skins, and Predcor is somewhat cool, it still needs alot more work to be more fluid. We need to be able to equip more skills as Predator though and carry more weapons. Predators are bigger and live longer lives then humans so it only makes sense that they are better equipped and more knowledgeable then their human so called counterparts. It also help even out the fact that 4 weapons firing on one Predator at the same time are gonna do more damage then one pred weapon hitting 1 FT member at a time, if we are lucky enough to aim it properly. The FT guns seem to have the aim advantage as well, some would say it is almost like an auto lock on. Knifes have taken away any type of close quarters combat and the nerf they did to the net gun now doesn’t hold humans for any significant amount of time now so by the time you net one and turn around to net the other stabing you the 1st one is already out. There is not really any true balance between the 4 FT members and the Predator in this game and it needs it badly before is chases off even more players. Maybe illfonic should let Black Tower handle balance because it sounds like they might actually know what they are doing in these style games.
maybe I will try the online again in Friday and see what that patch has done for gameplay improvement. That Jason chasing crap was getting sickening.
The only real way I can see any human go toe to toe with a Predator should be if they are wearing a Predator Killer suit from the last movie. That would make perfect sense and would add that affect of having to do something special to kill a Predator. I still think the way it is now is not anywhere within the realm of reality. At most bullets should only slow down and possibly stun a Predator unless they are damaged beyond the point of regenerating. That would mean, missing arms or legs, large holes from explosives or traps, you know heavy heavy damage. Predators do seem to have the capability to absorb a very considerably large amount of damage before they have to go and use their heal kits in actual Predator lore that is. If you have read any of the comic books you would see it doesn’t always fair too well for the humans when facing off with one of these hunters. The movies do tend to pander to the humans more.
Lol in any asymmetrical you play, once the team of players has a solid grasp of the game they’re going to figure out how to bully the solo player with flashlights and tbagging. It’s not an illfonic thing, that’s just how it works because people play to win instead of roleplaying or having no clue what to do.
No one is scared of jason after 50 matches of course they’re going to encircle him like wolves with baseball bats and sweaters. You don’t like getting metagamed but its going to happen in a 4v1.
Yikes lets not. Preds have been 1v1’d plenty without the awful iron man suit. By plenty I mean every single movie. By swords or just getting hit on the head hard enough. Predators have never ever been invincible or bulletproof they just avoid taking hits (unless you mean that last terrible pred movie and “assassin” should be its own class based on playing like a generic slasher monster because its hardly a predator) and it’s always about the human turning the situation around. Their merit is sneaking around getting the drop on people, downing most of the squad by surprise, and then losing to the last guy. Predators aren’t Jason. You could argue the “Predators” & “Predator” movie titles actually refers to arnie or the squad on the reserve, not the aliens.
It’s kind of ironic when people don’t want to be the one getting hunted ever.
