Well, that explains a lot.
I’m not first to point this out here, but it must be clear. Fans of the original predator movie basically all consider the 2018 predator movie to be complete trash and disregard it as though it never happened. I hope you’ve watched the original movie.
I hate that movie so much, it shits all over the franchise. That suit is also just so damn stupid and don’t even get me started on how stupid the predators goals were in that film.

I have watched all the movies and read multiple comics and I think that a Predators game should have everything from all sources in it.
Damn even Bat in the Sun shit could go in there were he faced off with Wolverine and also Batman…
Not the Iron Ma… I mean “predator killer” suit. Predators hunt for trophies. Whatever was in “The Predator” movie had stupid motivation and wasn’t a Yautja. The whole concept is actually stupid anyway. You don’t need dna from other species to enhance your own dna. Collecting skulls is also a terrible way to study the dna of other creatures, unless your plan involves cloning from the stem cells. Which means preserving the soft tissue. It’s all just stupid. A big soup of stupid.

They take the skulls and spines, spinal fluid is actually filled with DNA just an FYI.
But why would they want the DNA of humans if according to them will be wiped out by climate change? In the movie they say that after humans die out then planet would be suitable for them to move in if so why then take their DNA if it would screw them over, also why inject themselves with the DNA of beings that they are clearly superior to.
This movie throws away the entire concept of predators being galactic hunters that would hunt the strongest prey and claim their skulls as trophies. Also why give the humans a “predator killer” suit if the main reason humans would die out is from climate change not the predators, how does that help them out?

I was just throwing that out there so we could have more of a Friday the 13th type feel. I think that the Predator should only be stunned the entire match till the chopper gets there. If FT ops to not take the chopper then they can kill the Predator. These matches in most case are shorter then the wait time to be the Predator. That is a serious issue in itself. I would like to see traps and dismemberments and the affects those things would do to a human or Predator. I think the nets should only be able to be removed with Predator tech. That said i think FT should be able to pick up a Predator’s staff or smart disc and use it against them or to free a netted FT member. I think this should be more in line with the movies and the comics then just you every other day run of the mill P,P,P,PvPvE game. Friday the 13th had some very interesting game play that is what made it fun to face Jason, this game not so much. There is really no WOW factor right now. Like so many of us have been trying to say but get shot down most of the time is when the P,P,P,PvPvE part of this game dies down they might just close up shop and shut down the servers. What good is this type of game without a single player aspect when that happens (and it’s not an IF it’s a WHEN). People have lives as well and don’t want to sit around 10 to 15 and even sometimes 20 minutes to play as the Predator. They need to think about that as well (they meaning all the players and the devs).
They want our DNA because of our thought capabilities. Anything we imagine we end up creating. Other races simply don’t have that capability. The human mind is very complex and they look for those who have unlocked more of their mind. Like they went after his son, that was because he was highly intelligent. Predators are more brute force and to expand their thought capacity would make them even more dangerous.
There is a damn good story line there it just takes a little bit more thinking to see it.
That’s so true. The stupid in that movie just keeps piling up the more you think about it. And that is even avoiding the whole controversial idea around the kid, and why the predator wants to abduct him.

I just explained that, the child is genius level smart.
Just imagine if a Predator were to put on that suit, what would happen then. The suit was designed with the Predators in mind. That rogue Predator gave it to the humans as a last ditch effort to keep the hunt they have enjoyed for thousands of years interesting. If a Predator came to Earth with that suit on the Humans wouldn’t stand a chance in Hell, that is why he was trying so hard to give it to the humans.
But the predators are already clearly more intelligent than humans and vastly superior to them, hell they hunt them for sport. Also the son with Hollywood autism was just dumb, one second it’s shown that loud noises affect him like in the beginning with the fire alarm but then throughout the movie gunshots, explosions, and everyone shouting does nothing to him. The kid is also a supreme genius because the movie wants it to be like how in the hell does the kid know how to use pred tech and know the language? That’s not autism that’s bullshit. This movie has a shit ton of plot holes, bad characters, terrible writing with jokes that just fell flat. I’m not saying you can’t enjoy the film since it’s your opinion and no one can change that but overall this movie was awful for both predator fans and casual viewers.
But why would they? They are better than humans and hunt them for sport. It would be the equivalent of hunting a deer with a tank.
It all depends on how your mind works. If you just want to see the normal blood bath with little to no thought behind it then yes the older films are for you. If you want to have a little bit more in the realm of science fiction then you have to make your prey and hunter evolve into a more complex story line.
Two different eras of film. Some people need more then just the bang, bang your dead theme.
Okay but you can have all that without making a terrible film.
