Depends what you mean by very long range. For instance, AR can shoot across the train yard in derailed.
With full damage?
Obviously not but you can still punish the predator for peaking from buildings and shooting plasma or other weapons. You can also shoot at him (from a vantage point as he approaches).
We tried several (by far not all) weapons out systematically (in private matches) - and our conclusion from that trial was:
- either take the GOSL for offensive play including near and mid range (but GOSL also is not bad in terms of relatively far) - if you want to do massive damage fast
- or take the hardcore slow sniper rifle, if I remember right itās name is SAWZ50, for decent damage in far range.
All other weapons we tested, had too less damage to really annoy the predator - just small mosquito itches thenā¦
It would be quite interesting to know, which weapons arrow used, as they, obviously, make much more damage then all others. In every of the 3 games vs Skoo he seems to have made more predator damage points then his two fire team mates together - and after watching Prozis videos I think he played quiiiite good; very clever and precise playing style, if you ask me.
The GOSL is my second favorite AR. What I use is the hammerhead. GOSL is better at distance but I found the hammerhead far more stable. You also need to take into account not 1 guy shooting the pred but 4.
Yeah, I have to admit, that we tested for PS4 and mid-rated skill level (where the hits/time for big distances is not big enough from my POV) - for pros that might be different. I hope we get more real infos about that topic during our challengeā¦

I downloaded.OBS studio for.trying a twitch stream. If it wonāt make my fps drop by a lot a will stream my game tomorrow. Otherwise I will delete it and never mind.

I did only two games for trying. One 4 k damage solo kill the pred with AR-W and one 4,5k damage with sniper . Now I am downloading patch.
