Would a group of mid tier FT players who play as randoms, but are knowledgeable about the game and how to play FT correctly, still be considered as randoms can? I know that facing headsets and communicating verbally instead of just using the in game audio ques is also significant. How much would that elevate their overall performance ?

I think so. The difference between teams, who often play together, and teams, who do not, is huuuuge.
This is a fact, which is known for any sports quite well. If you play e.g. soccer, and you play with people you do not know, your team might loose easily against a team, with less good players, but with players, who know what the others do and how quite well.
If you know the paths which the other players normally run (do not know, how that is translated correctly:) - that is a huuge advantage.

Makes sense. I though that when players are knowledgeable and can communicate or use audio ques that they would still perform well together in an asymmetric game cause there is only one ‘main’ enemy to worry about.

Yes, that somehow is true too, but:

the enemy can hear what you are talking, so you cannot tell your mate to hide behind that bush…

I have my micro on all the day and veeeeery seldomly encounter people who really talk back…
So, theoretically: yes; practically: not really - if you ask me:)
PS: at least if you use the normal PHG micro - if you would use the PS4 chat, that might be another story - but that does not happen for randoms - as they do not know with whom they play next, right? :)) In all the games, I just got one such request - and did not know about the chat then, so…

Not like that. Just saying ‘cover me’ or ‘do objective’ or something about Pred being nearby. It doesn’t substitute for comms well, but it’s still helpful. Plus spotting is important info too.

I do that quite often - but believe me, they tend to ignore me nearly as often…
One of the last games I told them thrice “back to the mission”, I returned thrice, as they obviously thought it would be a better idea to fight the predator in the open field…
Did not work out, naturally, it was a PC predator:) Last man standing again, but dead in the end too…
These “communication problems” happen often. It is part of the “random pubs”.

Using headset and discord or what ever you use for speaking on console is far better than voice chat and TV sound.

Small machine guns, like Vektor, Ump and Uzi. In that game are Z-55, Z-06 and PDW.

By the way, this is why each FT soldier might need a military rank or alike. If it is clear from the beginning, who is in the lead, that would make all that much easier for random pubs…
Such a “military rank” also might be given newly for each match by a random generator. Could be an interesting idea:)

Although I would gladly enjoy a ranked system. I dont think it could be helpfull anymore because the game is dead. Devs have to try ti the proper changed that could bring the balance between randoms and premades. In my opinion they have to buff the Predator weapons that are very hard to use. That would affect only high level because noobs wont be able to abuse of these weapons. Bow need multiple changes and spear throw as well. I dont know why they did nerf the pistol, now it’s useless. They should revert the combi throw damage to the previous and make the Bow more tricky. The damage of the fireteam should be reduced. Bane should be removed and Tick skin should be nerfed to +15.

Yeah, but somehow, I would think that is a kind of “cheating” - as you circumvent e.g. the possibility for the predator to locate you by sound… And it would also be possible to hear your mates although you are far away and so on…
So, being a fair person, I did not try discord or PS4-Chat or alike yet:)
