Yea I just made a general discussion about this. It’s like the ft outclasses the predator in every way. From UAV’s and constant map knowledge to straight up higher health and higher damage output. I just started playing AVP 2010 again, it’s a much better alternative wish they’d remaster

I do think that the Predator needs a buff. I main Fireteam, reason being that the Predator is just really bad right now. If it were better then I’d play it more. Buffs like increased damage resistance, make the wristblades unparryable, hell increase their health, I honestly don’t care, just something! As it stands, Predator Hunting Grounds feels like it favors the Fireteam over the Predator. So I think some balance tweaks are overdue.

Last few patches, the Pred got the Axe buffed, the Hammer buffed, the handheld plasma caster buffed and generally the melee combat was improved. Got the new weapon, the hook which is a very solid weapon.
Already had the disc that can deal 156HP of damage with a proper loadout with only 1 hit, which is enough to down more than half of the FT classes (w/o any hp perk)
Depending on pig spawning, have infinite hp regen. Shoulder cannon and plasma caster have infinite ammo.
What more should be buffed?
Everything, but spread out through the classes. Health, gear points, perk points, speed, energy regen, some extra damage buffs on certain weapons (elder sword, katana specifically). Even with all these buffs, the Pred is still extremely weak to even a decent FT. There needs to be more stat enhancement across the board in order to compete. Or, keep Preds more or less where they are now and NERF the FT, considerably.

Adding more Predator gear, long range weapons, quieter footsteps, and actual diverse passives that contribute to the classes that isn’t just more/less melee and more/less bullet resistance, would be a great start.
