They’d still dominate.

I think the class health distributions should just be completely reworked.

  • 125 scout
  • 135 OWLF operative
  • 140 recon
  • 145 Isabelle
  • 150 assault
  • 155 Dutch 87 and Dante
  • 160 Support
  • 165 Dutch 2025

Honestly I disagree.
Ft health can stay were it’s at.

It’s the movement speed and overall ft dps that needs to be lowered.

Idk about speed but DPS needs to be lowered. If you’re worried about speed, just make some classes like Scout not be able to stack Double Time.

No class should move faster than assault base speed.
But ya. Damage Is the main issue.

Would you view DPS as less as an issue now than previously, seeing as how a smart-disk can drop Arnie’s full health to below 10 with one swipe?

But the disk is only an issue like that, on pc.

Hard to say tho. I know for sure ft dps has been way too high since specializations were implemented.

I played earlier with a full group, and a pred jumped in, full health, and was sw in I think like 3 seconds. Or 2.
It was fucking insane.
Like we all know its possible but still, it was beyond fucking broken.

We either need to go with @JelouGaming has been mentioning of increasing health and decreasing everyones damage so matches could be longer.

Or, go with what was suggested a lot,
Mainly by @Lazycollinator if I’m not mistaken,
And lower everyones health, and put a huge emphasis on stealth.
Which I would want that.

But as it stands now, ft dps is the problem.

Increase disk health, by maybe 700 hp, and bring it back to one disk only.
Idk.

Since the game came out, all we got was dps increase while the HP pool remained the same.
Now we got dps master race between FT and Pred.

I’d say it’s affirmative that fts aren’t too much of an issue (excluding 4-stacks) with well-seasoned preds; especially lately with the influx of axe/disk/pistol users but I understand your point.

Not sure how I see health being modified without some negative feedback. I’m a proponent of reducing disks storage to one, with the benefit of increased health.

** I’d love to see the specializations concept yeeted altogether

Purely going off numbers, ft has the advantage.

I agree with this, but not movement speed, unless it’s support. Dante also needs to be less survivable, less health and stamina.

@Fire

I’m all for dps to be lowered btw (as well as damage+ perks), though I feel as though damage resistance being reduced during interactions such as claiming ft would elude beefy preds abusing quick claims without consequence.

Plus nerfing or ridding the game of field medic (and self-revives) would disincentivize Preds from shooting downed fts from a distance (I’d rather either die from bleeding out or getting claimed).

Doesn’t matter how good you are on pred. Ft damage is still a problem.

Like I just told hood,
Purely going off numbers. Ft dps is beyond broken.
A pred shouldn’t be able to be sw in less than 5 seconds.

But the problem is, ft focused players have always gone of certain players performance, instead of focusing on data.

Like since all you gotta do is look at the pred and youl damage him, instantly and very rapidly cause fire rate,
Pred cant do that.
Pred has no way to do consistent damage at the same rate that ft can.

The disk, if not on pc, cant do a full circle or 180, so yeah hits hard, but it wont delete you, you have a chance to dodge and survive.

It’s all in the name of balance tho.
Ft dps is too high.
First step is lowing it, then if adjustments need to happen, take it from there.

Speed can remain if damage gets lowered.
It’s one or the other, depending too on what changes are made.

I wish half my pubs had that accuracy when I play solo :p

I see your point. But main strategy when outnumbered is to play smart and not have your stamina exhausted as soon as you leap into the fight.

It’s just bad the way it is now.
But if the game is change to ttk being higher or lower, it could work much better and be way more enjoyable for everyone.

I think making the game way more stealth focused
And easier to die would be way more fun.

Like if I’m playing ft, I want to feel like playing ghost recon wildlands on the highest difficulty. Keep in mind, this is the experience I want when i play ft.

I want the A.I. to be a huge threat.
I want to have a chance to fail the mission and having to extract or possibly salvage some of the mission of an objective failed.
I want to have to play stealthy.

Pred would have to change.

So no real target iso, have it replaced by something.
Add units that are a threat to pred,
A.I. units.
Give him better stealth, same for ft.

Lower ft damage so they can get one shot, lower pred health by 25%.
Maybe a bit more, not sure.

But theres so much more too.
Both sides need better movement,
And a bunch of other shit.

Would be nice if we could have a discussion with illfonic and they tell us what’s possible and all that.

This thread was a joke, which in sure most know.
But it’s a shame not once were we able to have an actual conversation and discussion about this game with illfonic.

I’m conflicted when it comes to being one shot- but I’d accept it if both sides are adjusted (as you mentioned).

The stealth approach would be far more intriguing, and the health nerf is worth it for that style of gameplay. As long as there’s no exploits either side can abuse too, it’d be a better game unequivocally.

dps need to go down for almost every FT weapon and a few Pred weapons

But the problem is not only the weapons only, is also the damage stacking of specializations and perks. Even seasoned players agree some weapons (namely disk and full charged plasma shots) are a bit too much for pred when you are not using FT in game “exploits”, using support/dante or dutch87 combo, field medic, etc.

Some stuff needs to go asap, regardless of DPS, like spotter perk

we have tried the stealth approach, pretty fun tbh.

everyone runs owlf operative with spotter and ice cold perk and as long as the pred is not running tracker (and even if it did) is stealthy as fuck. we all use suppressors and shit and is fucking hilarious watching preds leap over us without any idea of where we are shooting from.

without thick skin, we are weak as fuck, so we gotta focus on stealth, but is awesome.Z

depending on the map/mission, it may be fun, or flat out boring if we can rush the mission
