I’ve seen console players do this. This is not something exclusive to high DPI controls. And all it takes is a recall to get literally 180 degrees turn and land 2 shots easy controller or high dpi mouse or whatever, even on high ping

Is not FT only, and until everyone agrees to that, there’s never gonna be a change. Is a DPS race and everyone who plays both sides and is not biased, understands that, while not every Pred weapon is as good as every FT weapon, damage numbers need to go down for both sides. Comistick throw, disc, axe, they need to go down if FT damage goes down. It can’t be one side and then the other or people will flat out quit. And you need people to play FT, that’s why the focus has always been around it. Unless you want 30 min queue for pred, you need to make pred play more difficult, sadly. No other way to make queue times fair

The thing is I like the high damage on pred for certain weapons but nothing really feels unfair when I play against it.

If somethings need to get adjusted after an ft damage nerf, trust me I’m all for it.

Remember when roof slam did full damage?
I was one of the ppl, even tho there was a lot of us, that thought that should be nerfed.

Trust me I’m not trying to give pred the full advantage.
I just want the matches to feel fair and balanced, on both sides.

Pred cant keep getting melted so quickly anymore.

Unless we turn it into avp, the pred cant be one shot because this a 1v4.
If it was 4v4, sure I’d agree but then youd need respawns, and it would just be deathmatch.

Make stealth way better, and make it so like 5 saws shots or 4 would sw pred.
That would make it very dangerous, more so than one for pred to go in, but also gives him more of a chance to try and mix it up and not just use range.

See you dont want to get one spotted cause you’re more ft focused, I’ve been a hybrid since the early days and I dont mind it.
It means I gotta be on my toes.

I enjoy that on ft when I play it.

But we need a rework of the entire game.
Theres gotta more mechanics and changes.

It wont work as the game is now.

Easier to implement would be @JelouGaming idea, which I’d be down to see.

Just anything different than what we have now.

That’s the exact same way they behave when people ask them for more shaders. The only time they get serious is when they can come up with a way to gouge more money from us while doing as little work as possible.

It’s been 2 years since launch and this game didn’t turn out to be the success illfonic was hoping for so. Being an indie-studio it’s normal for them to already have moved on to future projects although with the Prey movie in the future they may still redirect some resources into the game. If the movie is successful and generates a buzz for the game, and they see a spike in new players and returning players then maybe (just maybe, unlikely but you never know) they’ll start giving this game the care and attention it needs.

Honestly, I think they’re done with this game. They’ll released the DLCs they’ve already got in the candy jar but once those are in the game it’ll be over as far as updates, fixes and content.

Yep, they can’t even do something as simple as giving people what they paid for that’s already in the game. I’m telling you, there’s just one guy back there who’s job it is to forward the next DLC to Sony once every two months. The rest of the PHG department is off working on GB.

Well, tbh, Valk was pretty OP when it came out and many ppl bought it 'cause of the stats.
It’s still a very good Pred stats wise, after nerfing.

Agreed however I find it hilarious that they nerfed her for being too powerful yet Dante is left untouched. That fucker may as well be a pred himself being that he can run as fast as them and tank more hits than a pred can a butter knife.

She was tankier than zerk, faster than scout, and had a decent amount of gear and perk points that allowed you to use the best setups. She made all the other preds irrelevant. Was she broken beyond all belief and guaranteed to win, nope but she was clearly the best there was. You can make the point that all the other preds should’ve been buffed to near her status but knowing Illfonic that would never happen.

It was OP, 14 perks points, full stamina, full health, same speed as CH, cmon dude.
Every PC Pred player stopped playing anything else except for Valk, it was pointless playing any other Pred.

My friend had a build with Impenetrable, impatient and medic, he would just rush with sickle and not care about 2nd wind, IF they 2nd wind him. That shit had to be balanced. Not to mention that you couldn’t catch up with Valk unless someone had Scout with double time.

I remember playing against valkyrie back then and still killing them pretty reasonable, just had to actually try.
It made the fight fun.

So no wasnt broken, she was balanced.
She was what hunter used to be before specializations, where all preds got nerfed.

I’m not going by how it felt to play her.
I’m going off how it was to play against her.

She wasnt a joke so it was fun to go up against a valk.

So if I that barely likes playing ft actually enjoyed fighting her back then, then what does that say about you @FromTheHood ? Since you’re actually a ft main?

Of course ppl started playing her, they wanted to even out the playing feild, balance the matches out.
You know how tired ppl were of preds being so weak?

Ya that’s a huge problem as it is for balance, ft movement speed is way to high on classes that move faster than assault.

You shouldnt be able to catch up to pred unless it’s a zerk type class.

Like theres really no point in mentioning it anymore,
But the majority of you on here, mainly ft players, have no idea what balance or op actually is.

You’re fine with pred being able to be shredded through and sw in like 2 or 3 seconds, you’re fine with the mask coming off so easily, you’re fine with broken damage being able to be dealt from multiple angles, damage that is way higher than preds, you’re fine with all this shit that in any other game would be addressed and balanced, but if pred gets anything to make it an even fight, you cry that its broken.

@FromTheHood face it, you dont want it to be balanced.
You dont want to have to try on ft.
You want to be able to kill the pred by yourself.

That’s the issue and my problem with it.
Pred doesn’t get melted by all ft, no it takes only one for that to happen.

How do you not see that as broken in a 1v4?

If it was a 1v1, and ft health was a bit higher, with maybe a bit more maneuverability, you could literally have it set up so the matches can be a 1v1.

Were not far from that at all.

That’s the issue.

It’s not treated as 1v4.
Its treated as a 1v1 to cater to those people who want to be able to be able to solo sw or kill the pred.

Because let’s face it, not many people actually like a balanced fight.

I’m tired of mentioning it and tired of arguing about it.
And since illfonic doesn’t care, theres no point.

But it’s just so annoying and stupid that people dont see that.

I mean just looking at the numbers it backs up what I’m saying.

You just don’t want to actually play a game that’s 1v4 and actually balanced to where the solo faction isnt a joke.

You want to hold the advantage.

If things were reversed and pred was too strong, I would be calling it out too.

You and all the other ft players scared of a challenge got what you wanted. To hold the complete advantage.

You can enjoy it and just rub it in everyones faces.

And anyone that wanted balance can just get completely fucked.

Seriously though like I said, going off stats alone in what the current state of the game was and still is she made all the other preds irrelevant. If Illfonic could balance the game out we wouldn’t have many of the issues that we still have but that’s not the case so we have to go by what they churned out.
