I mean… if a FT knife can cut the net off people, why doesn’t the Predators wristblades cut the nets off FT?
At least maybe make it apart of the trapper perk to give trapper a little more heaft and reason for it?
Would seem to be fair and push players to use the nets guns for pins or other ways of play.
Unless we are cool with preds netting and chopping ft down?

This and so many other things is wrong with the netgun.
It a a gear item and not a weapon. This is Proved in Predator 2 and in AvP. Goes even further it being part of the gauntlet in AvP.
Should require a teammate to free you from it.
Should have a lower amount of nets since they are harder to get free from.

I’ve also had a ton of Predators using the net gun as a main and doing exactly that, netting ft, downing them, killing them, doesn’t matter how close we are.
Imo it’s a little distasteful. I like to use my net guns for pins and stealth kills, not to guarentee a victory.
If I net anyone, they aren’t the ones I’m attacking either, I’m going after their other dudes for the fair fight.
Simple solution to the weapon slot , make it like the city hunters fire shot ? Let it use a slot there and give preds more weapons , the net gun should really have something like a 10 second cooldown
Tbh the Predators need a complete rework. I think each Predator weapon needs to be slotted as range or melee,
Each pred should get 2 melee weapons and a ranged weapons and then the caster and the wrist blades! I feel Predators would stand a better chance with more weapons. Maybe make all the gear able to use on the pred.
Considering fireteam have specialisations and more gear , there really should be more dynamic load outs for pred . They are solo and dont have teammates with perks that carry over onto the team and they don’t have refillable gear either . If a fireteam has such things it would only make sense to implement more . Half the time if you face a good team you can use so much resources and if the team reinforces? Its just even more against you . Even a mechanic that if their is a reinforcement, a gear drop pod lands on map for the predator to restock or even change primary weapons , let them adapt mid game if ranged isn’t working or change from melee loadout to ranged . Even a pop up that let’s you pick from premade loadouts and then it drops in ? Keep the perks the same just change weapons

Idk considering how lame the damage ft can do cause its broken I think Its fair play if a pred does that.

I’ve always believed that if you have your knife equipped when you are netted then you should be able to cut yourself out. But ONLY if you were quick enough or smart enough to equip it first.

if you want predators to not do this you have to buff other melee weapons as right now Net gun is the best melee weapon in the game as it’s the only one that guarentee’s you will always win the 1v1
and with trapper you can always win a 1v2 (unless PC macro)

Would a Macro make a accurate gun like less say the q4 basically a laser weapon. Single fire to a 45 hit macro would basically make it act like a lazer lol
