Yeah I was hoping the problem was those Microsoft Net Framework something that some games had me install awhile ago. Didn’t help but hey at least my PC got rid of some useless programs and runs smoother.

The fact that ANYONE can play Predator 90% of the time when I haven’t even been able to play Predator ONCE in the week I’ve had this games speaks VOLUMES about the matchmaking problems.

Even if that works, which i highly doubt ( you just got lucky and had one of those sessions that the game works fine and other times you DC every 5 min ) , DMZ opens up your pc to the whole internet . Its a terrible idea and its not a solution.

Also guys keep in mind illfonic had the exact same problem with Friday the 13th at some point. Exact same error also. Coinsidece? hmmmm

As is said before , this workaround works fine for me. Today i played 12 Games in a row without any error!.
Maybe easy anti cheat is the problem. We need to open up the right ports.

Listen my dude, dont take my word , look it up on the internet. If you are ok with that “solution” fine its your pc do whatever you want. The rest of us with some brain need a solution asap.

Get kicked from any game, private or otherwise, either team. Can’t login again.

i just got booted from a game and now cant log back in.
It will be sorted soon. nothing you can do to fix it or illfonic its just a connetion issue.
Isolation causing a huge strain on the internet. lots of drop outs

I think beside the lawsuit… the matchmaking in friday the 13th was the biggest issue. Seems like the problem repeat itself with predator. They should add lobbies like private lobbies for the multiplayer. It would help a lot.

Well I think I fixed the issue for me at least. There was some odd stuff in my DNS settings from when the ISP was here working on my internet.
Setting it to automatically get DNS settings fixed it.
Perhaps setting your DNS to google’s public DNS like 8.8.8.8 may provide a temp solution. Best of luck!

Has anybody found a solution yet? Has Illfonic said anything about it?
Haven’t stopped getting this error since day one. I can usually get in a game or two, without dc’s but after that every single game whether fireteam or predator is a dc and it kills any fun for me. It can’t be a problem from out side if so many people are complaining. They really need to look into this, it’s game breaking.
where are u both located?
Are you on WiFi or wired connections?
ALWAYS use direct ethernet connection to the router! wifi will get drop outs even if its just 1second it will cut you off eventuallly. wifi is fine for browsing the web etc, NOT for gaming!
I don’t use wifi for gaming and have very good internet.
I’ve never had any such problems with other games before.
Many people on PC don’t seem to have this issue,
so I assume there is something very specific in my setup that the game does not like.
I wish I could find out what it is. I don’t know if Illfonic will ever get around to fixing this.
